my htc u 11regular stutters throughout the UI

my htc u 11 lags for without any reason. and when it starts to lag it lags everywhere... youtube, dialler, messaging, keypad everything stutters... but i switch it off and back on... everything is back to normal, but again after a few minutes starts to stutter. this happens with simple browsing, and doing normal stuffs and no heavy ram intensive works. did anyone face the same(6gb ram, 128gb rom, dual sim model)?

Are you on 1.27 base?

yup 1.27.400.8 that's what it is

Have you upgraded from 1.13 or 1.16? I find 1.27 not as smooth as 1.13 but after rooting, flashing magisk and viper ROM as module everything went away. Almost. Still have some wierd scrolling lags/spikes in YT app but all those problems might be app related. I would clear cache, clear data from apps that you use the most including playstore and Google play services. If that doesn't help factory reset might be needed

i dont remember what version i was in but ya before the update it was a lot better... i guess i would wait fir the next update. i wonder whether htc knows about the issue?

Well next update might be Oreo in 2 months time so if I were you I would do some digging especially that the stuttering for you happens in system apps not in 3rd party apps. Do You use microSD card?

no i don't use micro sd, but using 2 sims... yes the stuttering is there in app drawer and notification drop down menu as well... what do u think i should do?

The easiest one would be factory reset. Then 1hr of setting up the phone but at least you know that the system is clean. I did it after I messed around with flashing new firmware and some kernels and it helped a lot.
