Instagram, Facebook, Edjing mix, Microsoft Edge, One Drive, Microsoft Xbox, One Note, Microsoft Word...
I only tested these applications ... After that I formatted ... The tablet is without rom now.

but I want to install this rom again...
Sorry I can't help you with Facebook or Microsoft programs. However you are correct that Edjing mix crashes. I tried version 6.1.4 from APKMirror which did not crash.

Thanks, but can I get some help!

Hi,
Firstly, thanks for posting this!
Secondly, in order to use any of the ROMs, I need to do the partition thing, but to do that I need to get into recovery mode.
Whenever I try that on my rooted MZ601 (Everest) I see just a fallen over robot. :(
Anybody any ideas on how to get my machine into recovery mode or otherwise do the bigpart thing in order to flash the new ROM?
Thanks,
Gaius

when the image of the fallen robot appears, press the power button and then volume button +

Thanks, Zarosky, but surely that just gets me back to boot menu? It doesn't seem to allow me into recovery mode.
Is there something else I am meant to do there that I am missing?

I would tell you that if you want to install custom roms, you have to use the fastboot commands, enter fastboot mode, unlock the bootloader, and install a custom recovery. Look for a guide to how to install a custom recovery

Thanks for the link, I'll double-check step-by-step, but I have to say I thought I'd already done all of that! The fastboot commands work fine, but when I reboot into recovery mode, it falls over.
Anyway, I will try again, following step-by-step.

AH!
Yes, that's better...
Though I still need to get past the omni-eyes. Think I have forgotten a step.

WOOT!

My vintage MZ601 from too long ago to remember is now on Android 4.4.4!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this and other threads to get me there!

Thanks.

This is the forum for the roms I compile for Motorola Xoom.
I have nicknamed these future roms Moto-Rola for personal reasons. xD
I will try to make them faster and put some cute things on them, even if I start with KitKat versions.
As you all know, I am currently using some of Schischu's sources, I am just following his hard work and making it available for everyone.

This first rom is the Cyanogenmod 11 version for Motorola Xoom Wingray you already know.
I will compile next the Everest version, you will have to try it for me if I am able to do it. I do not have the everest version of the Motorola Xoom so...

Here are the links (up here) It is a dropbox folder with everything you need.

TWRP 3.0.1 recovery with sdcard support.
CM11 for wingray
Open gapps Kitkat pico version
Open gapps Kitkat nano version
Supersu.
Omnirom 4.4.4.
Thank you for your support!

Please accept my apologies for this totally noob question. I'm wondering if your roms work for the Xoom 2 as well as the Xoom. In particular Model MZ616-32

It looks like your custom ROM that upgrades the unit to Kit Kat is the newest one out there. There is a guy over on another thread who was trying to develop a ROM for Oreo but he hasn't posted in a few months. If he pulls that off it will be a miracle but I don't like the odds LOL

I have the MZ602 model, will these roms work for my model?
Sorry I am not one of the experts, but MZ602 is the verizon? I have two verizon tablets working well with custom roms.

Again I'm not an expert but I don't believe these roms work with a XOOM2.

Installed CM11 for Wingray this morning over a OMNIRom version that was exceedingly problematic.

So far, so good, other than being a bit lethargic. Is there a way to overclock under CM11?
