My Pixel XL just died and won't enter the bootloader.

I had my Pixel XL next to me on my desk until it just died randomly the same way my Nexus 5x did. It won't boot at all, not even the bootloader. I also connected it to my PC and it didn't even recognize my phone. It doesn't say "HS-USB QDloader 9008" either. I think my phone is actually bricked.

Notes: Verizon Pixel XL 32 GB with unlocked bootloader.

Try getting a usb jig, not sure if they're for a usb c device, but it forces the phone to enter bootloader mode. Got me out of tough situations with my old s7

Mine just died today. Can't access it with ADB. Linux dmesg shows this when I plug it in.

Looks like I have a $900 paperweight now

ubreakifix replaced half of the phone and couldn't get anything from it. Mainboard probably crapped out.

Yeah, they replaced the motherboard for free. YMMV, I brought it there a few months ago to have the audio issue fixed.

Contact Google and see if they can do anything. Otherwise you can buy the original pixel for cheap on eBay. I got my 128gb for $105, you just have to look
