Ok sooo basically I flash phones on the side for extra money.

I was flashing an S3 and it was on the MD4 baseband and android 4.1.2

so I had to downgrade the moden the LJ7 and downgrade android to 4.1.1 so I can get the MSL,

I did that and the flash when perfect, but I kept getting an update android notification, and I know my

customer would end up doing it whether I told them not to. Sooo I decided to upgrade him to a stable verison

of cm 10.1.2 and when I did it erased his flash, so I went to reboot into recovery but when I hit reboot it just started to reboot the

phone. So I took the battery out real quick so I could just manually boot into recovery. Well, it would turn on, or anything, I plugged the

charger into it and it power cycles ( turns on the turns off over and over and over) I try to boot into recovery by plugging in the power cable

then pressing the buttons and pulling the cord out before it cycles again :/ doesnt work, I can get into download mode, so im thinging i may

just have to odin back to stock android 4.1.1 and start over :/ any other ideas??????

It's the sudden death syndrome. It's a faulty power button, it's a known known issue they will replace the device. You can try playing with the power button maybe blowing some compressed air into it.

NNNNoooooooo !!!!!! lmao jk jk jk jk

I figured it out, the battery was dead lmao... i left it on the charger and allowed it to continue to cycle and it got enough charge to turn on and start charging.

Hopefully, you give a kickback to the dev who made the root procedure you used. I mean, they give you something for free and then you take their work and profit from it. Just saying...

On another note once you got the msl you could put his/her phone back to date on md4 and 4.1.2
