Walked into the Sprint store around the corner from my house which is also a full service center and asked them if they had any Galaxy Note 3's in stock as I wasn't sure if every store had any that wasn't already sold to maybe pre-orders. There were 2 workers and a manager and they all looked at me like I was confused about what day it was and they told me to come back when they go on sale on Friday. It only took after I told them it was Friday they went out back and brought me out a nice white Note 3.

It must be bad if your own workers aren't even prepared or care it seems that they launching a phone that morning.

The EVO 3D at least had more hype from Sprint and the stores for that launch where packed.

I did sign up for notification of the release of Note 3 from Sprint's website and didn't receive any e-mails about it being in stock until almost 4pm today. The headquarters must not of been that excited either.

Even with the quiet and poorly handled launch this phone just simply amazes me and I can't put it down.

Similar experience

My experience was similar, I was in line as the door opened and there were only two people ahead of me. When I got to the counter they told me they were out of the Note 3. I just stared for a moment and said "Ok, I guess I'll buy it somewhere else" and left. Drove to best buy and managed to buy one. While I waited in line to get to one of the two people dealing with phone activations much of the crowd from the Sprint store showed up at this Best Buy

Later that day I went back to the Sprint store for a case to find out much of the stock showed up around 1:00.

Way to handle a launch.
