My vivo nex just got updated to Android 9. Global version India.

Hi while writing this post my phone is upgrading to Android 9. I'm in India . I'm sure more of us will get it too. Let's share here what's new in Android 9 for vivo nex.

I am currently downloading as well, situated in Denmark.

I did change region to india in settings and activate vpn through india before going to bed however, so I cannot say if this made some difference...

I noticed camera has more features under ai face beauty option but sad is 24mp snapping is removed from vivo nex camera . Other changes are mostly UI based.

I am downloading in Poland (EU) without any VPNs and region changes. Here is, in the end Android 9 will give the Global version without a combination.

Downloading (very slowly) version 9 from France! Cheers mate!
No vpn needed. Region is still Switzerland.

Edit: update applies quite quickly like less than 20 min. Dark mode is cool.

It still works go to settings ,, appmanager,, then click the more tab in top right, show system, then vivo service, clear storage,, :winning: ?

I'm not happy with the dark mode it is not absolute black instead grey it is. So it is not going to help in saving any battery. Only it will be less stain to eyes at night. I still miss my 24mp camera in vivo nex.

The Nex battery life is so good it doesn't matter. I'm just happy I'm no longer blinded every time I open the phone.
