Just do a return and buy a new oneBit mixed feelings here. I watched every possible instruction video from you tube. Fails and succes stories. I'm sure I did everything absolute correct.
I did everything to the letter correct. I even leveled my table to 100% strait with leverel! After i opened cap and let the glue pour on the display it doesn't puddle same way as in videos. Puddle of loca glue is bit bigger and less uniform. When I tilt my phone glue won't move down in a bundle, but it starts to spread to form strait line. Top part of buddle stays where it is and lower part of it spreads down forming a wide line. When I pull pin it will form pubbles.
I didn't cure it. I removed glass and swiped it and phone clean again with water, alcohol and wipes. Used dustremoval stickers and started from start.
Exactly same thing happened again. Budle of glue won't move downwards when tilted. It just spreads and forms pubbles when pin is pulled. I had to accept this at this point as I don't have more glue left. I managed to work out pubbles with squigee, but now I have several extreamly small pubbles and one hair under my screen protector.
I'm pretty sure that this happens because note 8 has a such a poor oleophpic coating. Worst I have ever had in eny device. It's all ready bit worn (3 months old device) and every single touch of fingers leaves smudges. That caused the glue bubble to stick where it was poured.
I would say that this whitestone kit is NOT compatible with older devices that has been used without screen protectors.
Still best you can use with note 8 and trying to learn not to look at those extreamly minor pubbles and tiny hair or fiber trapped in there. I might try one more...
