Not only that, but the original developer has now provided all the source files. And there are more recent ones here too now. No-one should be trying to use the encrypted and time-limited installer software anymore. At least not without removing those 2 points of fact... Which I'm not interested in, in any case, as all this software runs off USB or SD just as well - which is way more serviceable as time moves forward.
I'm sorry for the people who have been bitten by ALZYOUD though, that crew really went beyond what I call reasonable. Extract my "Restore" archive to a blank USB stick and the skeleton keys (in the right extracted directories) should allow you to fix it, by doing a full re-install of the Sync2 firmware, which I won't help with since it's prone to failure. While it should work, you're on your own!
Good luck people! (I've found swFlashLite for QNX 6.x & ARMv6 and that's where I'm now spending my time, since that's what my Aussie 8" i.MX31 screen is running... With any luck, I'll get some cool flash games running on it over the coming weekend. My Sync2 unit is now "off the bench".)
