I ordered some note 2 glass screen protectors cause I thought I would have the n2 for quite some time but I came across a deal I couldn't pass up on Craigslist for a note 3. So I put the n2 glass screen protector on the n3. It fit pretty decent for being for a N2. It would fit even better if I wouldn't have put it on crooked lol. The glass screen protectors were 10 dollars shipped on eBay.

Thats actually a good idea. I just got my Note 3 yesterday and my screen protectors are not coming in until Monday. In the meantime I was afraid of something happening. I am going to throw my spare Note 2 screen protector on it for now. :)

The phone has gorilla glass 3, I have yet to scratch an old pos HTC thunderbolt or skyrocket. Money better spent on a square trade warranty.

So much for Gorilla Glass huh? I prefer a screen protector no matter what the glass is made of. Sorry man.

I tried using a screen protector but it was really hard to move the S-Pen across the screen. It wasn't smooth. It was like moving it across a rubber surface.
I hear the tempered glass protectors are very good to combat that. Just pricey

I did the same thing, I had a spare thin flexi-glass screen protector for my N2 and put it on my N3. Works great. Better be safe then sorry and keep square trade for something really bad.

That sucks, but general use won't damage a screen, that takes some serious abuse.

Body guards makes a good glass protector, worth the $.

Its funny that you say that because it happened putting the phone in and out of my empty pocket haha. Mustve been dirt or sand or something. Sometime your just unlucky i guess

Sand and glass don't mix, a possible bur on keys, I've already jammed a aluminum flashlight into my pocket with the phone against the screen, no sharp edges, it did no damage. If you wear a ring with exposed stones, that too can damage. In and out of a clean pocket will do nothing, unlike the older phones.

I'd never let my fiance use a phone without a screen protector, she'd damage it in a day, depends how conscious you are of the screen.

Still cheaper to get a square trade at this point, 99 and then 100 deductible, replacing the screen is very difficult on this phone, you are more likely to break more in the process, plus it is still more $ than the warranty. Best of luck.

I had this exact problem when I initially installed my screen protector. It was extremely tough to use the S-Pen and felt extremely rubbery. The next day, I tried the S-Pen again and it was absolutely smooth and normal.

I think that there was something left on the screen protector after I initially removed the thin plastic film that they stick to it for shipping.
