-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS-

- Make sure you are either on any KitKat ROM (CM11, etc) or on 4.2.2 TW based ROM and NOT on 4.1.2 TW based ROM
- Download the latest build
- Download Gapps
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using latest ClockworkMod recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!​

-UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS-

- Download the latest build of Resurrection Remix ROM
- Take a nandroid backup
- Flash ROM using ClockworkMod recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Wipe cache
- Wipe dalvik cache
- Reboot
- Enjoy!​

-OTA UPDATES-

- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.

Resurrection Remix v5.1.3 Review

Installed nicely and allowed the ROM to settle down now...

First impressions: Fantastic ROM:good:....as smooth and feature rich as Asylum (a bit more features than it actually)

Rom working great no fc for now.
Still it does not have nacional roaming for spain .. Any chance to merge the commit?

OK I'm just gonna go and say it. This is one of the best, if not the best KK ROM for our device IMO. It's got plenty of features, it doesn't look like a mess (unlike many other feature packed ROMs), the replaced background looks awesome, performance is on par with most other ROMs. It's just awesome!

My only gripe with it is the commit I mentioned in my previous post. @westcrip I know this probably sounds stupid and baseless, but could you please consider reverting this? I have no idea if it actually fixes any tags, but what's certain is that it ruins many other tags in languages like Japanese, especially ones with special characters like ★. It's really, really the only thing that currently wants me to stop using this ROM. I can't even fathom why it has gone unnoticed for so long, since Steve Kondik merged it in January. But anyway, you can read more about what problem the commit causes in the links below (all of them are posts/threads by me, and pretty much have the same context, so just reading one of them should be enough).

The rom went krazy afther changed to art. Stuck at boot. i had to wipe all user data and it started but without storages, it fixed with setting permisions.

Now I have everythin restored againd . and all working great. Best kk rom so far.
