there's no one that can use this base and update it it is a shame we loose updates for it it has the good stuffs...
Exactly... of all the KK ROMs I tried this one is the most beautiful by far... for me at least. It will be a real shame if development stops now.

I went back to AryaMod (nice) and then to SlimSaber (fast). I'll be checking the thread for any news.

My Note, running Resurrection Remix, has started to have problems detecting a charger or usb host is connected. It charges for a while, and then stops as if disconnected. Could this be a software issue, or should I assume hardware breakage?

EDIT also, when I plug in a charger with the phone powered off, instead of charging it proceeds to boot up.

Don't assume anything until you have clean flashed a Rom and tried to charge your device before installing any apps.
Make a NanDroid Backup of your current build so you can flash it back if you discover a clean flash makes no difference. If it charges fine on a clean flash then you have a software problem.
The boot on insertion of charger is a known problem with many custom ROMs on thIs device, but I don't know if this one of the ROMs with that particular "feature".
I had a similar problem and had to replace the USB daughter board. I tried three aftermarket boards before I found one that worked as well as the Samsung OEM board. Your best bet is a Samsung service centre for a decent board.

Thanks, seems like sound advice. I did not have the boot on connecting charger with this ROM until recently, and this plus the fact that behavior seems to depend a lot on which cable/plug I use to connect the phone makes me believe that this is most likely hardware, a damaged USB port.

I would agree with your diagnosis.
If you're going to look at an aftermarket USB daughter board, read this.
Your best bet is paying for the Samsung Service Centre OEM replacement.
Unless you're still in warranty, in which case Samsung will replace for free..... so long as you flash a stock ROM and unroot.....

Hi all,

Last Sunday, I did a clean install of RR5.1.5 on my N7000.
The phone was lying around in a drawer with Android stock 2.3.6...

It behaves VERY well most of the time, I really love it, but yesterday, I had to force reboot twice.
First time, the screen was stuck on Hangout, with Swiftkey open. The phone was reacting to the power on/off button (screen on/off), but the touch screen was dead and so were the soft keys and the home key.
The phone was still "alive", I could hear Hangout notification as new Hangout messages were coming, but the screen was frozen and didn't update.
I waited more than 5min but it didn't come back, and I had to restart it by holding the power button pressed down for ~10sec.

The second time, I was on the phone with a bluetooth earpiece, when I hang up and shutdown the earpiece, I noticed the softkeys were still lighten up.
The screen was off, and the phone didn't react to anything.
I waited 2 minutes and decided to restart it (with the power button, same as above).

Could it be a problem with the phone or is it more likely a rom/software issue ?
I haven't installed anything too fancy on the phone yet, except google apps, facebook and swiftkey.
I have enabled safeguard privacy... don't know if it could be the cause...

What do you think of this ?

I dont know if this is of any help but i have noticed a lot of freezes with new KK roms and what i did was increased the minimum cpu freq. to 500MHz. It seems to solve a lot of lag and i also noticed that greenifying apps helped with my Sleep of Deaht (SOD) problem in addition to the freq. increase.
Maybe give it a try on RR?

Hi All,

Do we still have a maintainer for our Device on this ROM???

As we are losing out on good roms, with features... Be nice to have a bit of an option/choice over roms...

Cheers, Lister

keeps awake

Hi everyone ,
I installed this ROM 2 days ago (07.12.14). Everything is good so far , except "stay awake" problem.
I checked "wakelock detector" but there is nothing. Everything looks just fine. But at the battery result screen ,it shows most battery used app. is "Google Services"
So it is draining battery and little bit heating the phone.

What can I do to solve this ?

the only thing i know is if you dont use Google+ you should remove it and that should solve it but if that doesnt solve it then i dont know what is causing the issue. So remove Google+ and see if it helps :)

I couldnt find Google+ from "wakelock blocker" to block it . And it says "it is built-in app" so other apps may misbehave.
Should I disable it still ?

There are screenshots about problem.
