Camera app is not included on the Quick tile setting. One more thing....on every reboot .....it'll load the “ optimizing app ....” interface so it'll take a long time to boot up, never have this b4 on other ROM even running ART. Its like changing to ART on every boot. Annoying.

Running ART? I noticed this once I switch to ART....after I installed a few app.....now I have 100+ App and every reboot..it'll optimizing app..
Well I'd like to keep this ROM...it's annoying to reboot...anyway I don't shut down my phone!

Everybody knew its experimental! But this ROM just did that ..where the one i came from don't. I am just reporting this bug. I can just keep quiet and restore my backup.

Hi guys, was switching trying to switch from c-rom to try this rom. did factory wipe and wiped cache and dalvik before installing the rom zip and gapps modular package. upon reboot got a black screen and then phone shutdown. do i need to reflash raw kernel and reboot into twrp before i install?

This is the first time I am hearing such problem with SOKP. anyway please do full wipe including system and reflash and please report if you face this problem.

You will always need a raw kernel if your going to flash a KK rom. If coming from other KK rom then I would advice a full wipe unless you're doing an upgrade.

EDIT:
Btw! Are you sure it shuts down? I just flashed this today coming from Asylum and the rom works fine. The rom doesn't come with a bootanimation and this is why you will get a black screen and it would be black for a while until the phone goes to setup mode.

Did you format system? If not, you should. So it would be like:
Wipe data / factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system.

I have tested many ROMs.....So far this ROM is smooth and fast! I always using Google Now launcher!!
Some bugs I found, Governor and I/O scheduler setting will reset to default after reboot Under Kernel Tweaker setting. There are no save setting that I can check.

Under Security ...APP Security...SMS message limit....FC once I clicks...so can't set the max. number of messages to 200.

SELinux mode default is Enforcing, this can be easily change with SELinux mode changer app.

Stock Camera app is not included to be added on the Quick Setting drawer tiles.

So If you can deal with the "optimizing app..." on every reboot (ART) then this is a highly recommended ROM! For I don't turn off my phone, so I will stick with this ROM. Hope you guys can figure out what's the problems with the "optimizing app.." on every reboot. I did google it....look like the sound engines is not fully compatible with ART. Oh yeah..ART is still experimental!!!!
