The rom is done for now.

Sounds good, i can fix must of the bugs in new version.
The ODEX tool problem i can not fix, did you try this command? mount -o rw,remount /system
One bad thing about the ODEX tool is that it will not moddify the .apk file so all the .odex will take up alot of extra space in system.
I do not know anything about about the "wesamothman odex tool"
