@TEKHD you have done some amazing magic for us international device users here in the US! Any way you can solve the carrier aggregation issue? There was a method for the S8 with T-Mobile (link below), however it seems to have been closed down for the N9. I've tried it on my device. PM me if you want to take this conversation off this thread.

I'm using your Detonator with T-Mobile and it is working awesome!

People need to start buying snapdragon international models from now on. Ca is working on them.

Thank you @TEKHD for taking the time to put this detonator together. I cannot thank you enough for also taking the time out of your day to help a complete noob who managed to mess up his attempt to root his first Android phone about a million different ways. Two thumbs up as I am working 100% with T-mobile using a N960F/DS factory unlocked model from the MYM region. Wifi calling works (which was the most important thing for me since I had terrible cell signal at my house) and I couldn't be happier. Kudos my man and thank you again.

If anyone wants to see the mess I made for myself, please see the below thread.

I think what Techronico is saying is that the US versions of the snapdragon Note 9 that are branded by T-mobile, etc. have their bootloaders locked. However, an international version with the snapdragon chip should not be locked if I remember correctly.
I know what he is saying, yet I'm saying, is why buy an exy, when you can buy an unlockable snapdragon?

Picked up 2 Note 9 F/DS off of Ebay... The first thing I'll do is Tmobile Detonate the stock rom...

If I chose to install a custom rom, would I fresh install the custom rom, then perhaps need to detonate again, for Tmobile network settings?

Great Work and Thanks!!! ?

I'm not too savvy on Verizon but learned some bands will be missing if one uses an exynos model.

Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
LTE bands are available, but no carrier aggragation, its also missing cdma, which is big still in some areas. N9600 is the way to go on any carrier.

N9 OREO 8.1 USA T-Mobile / AT&T EFS-CSC DETONATOR EXTREME MOD vPRE-2 INT TEKHD

VERIZON DETONATOR IS FOR N9 SM-N9600
VERIZON DETONATOR IS FOR N9 SM-N9600
VERIZON DETONATOR IS FOR N9 SM-N9600
Thank you for your hard work :) !!
this detonator works with models:
- note 9 sm-n9600 and sm- n960FD for sure?

If I do root, will the phone work as 100% unlocked? all other bands will be active? If I put in sim card other operator, than from the USA note 9 will be still working good? All rest bands will be still active?
After denonator note 9 will be compatible with usa operator like T-mobile, AT&T, verizon, but if I want to use other operator sim card from outside USA, will everything work well?
what are the cons: ?
- samsung pay bye bye (doesn't work)
- update OTA lost...
- something else???

what will be the level of security? can I use still online banking or similar aplications? everything will be safe?

Is it working? I have T-Mobile. Using SM G960DS/F. But no LTE, Wi-Fi calling and group messages. I know I will miss samsung pay. But I need basic coverage now. Please replay
