What's about Phone? Can it receive/make calls?

Well, I did manage to receive a call, but no audio. Making a call was not possible.

When I tried to make a call, it hung on a black screen then booted back into the splash screen. Also there seems to be a red triangle around the screen that pops up every now and then?

That sounds like strict mode. I'ts a developer option.


I saw some commits in hlte-common, so i'm going to fire up another build now! Let's see how it goes

ART is not working for me. I would choose the option and it would reboot but never upgrade the apps and kept saying davlik

Also try testing video playback (youtube) and NFC. Those don't work on my tmo builds so far.

Just flashed this ! Smooth nice stock looking CM

However :

Unable to use Data

Unable to make or receive calls

Shall be waiting eagerly to try any new builds

Thank you for this ponglenis, although I immediately went back to my previous ROM after installing this, it's good to feel AOSP on the note 3. Hoping for better builds in the future. I showered your posts with thanks. :laugh:

I can verify that youtube playback works fine, both app and browser.

No comment on NFC, the toggle toggles, but I have no way to test it atm. Logcat doesn't show any errors when turning it on (or i can't tell)!

Ok guys, the build is done, i flashed it but couldn't tell any noticeable difference. Feel free to test it, I'm not going to put it on the first post though:

Hehe ok. Dont expect too much from that last build. Anything comitted until 9PM CET in the official repos made it into there.

I was playing around and managed to place and end a call. No mic or audio working though. Also, the proximity sensor stayed on after i hung up. Good fun

Audio playback's ok. Only thing I've noticed that's not working is the mic (voice search and calls).

Installed the lastest build:

Can receive calls - no audio on either end.

Can send and receive texts.

Data works

Signal bars stay at 0 bars with Hspa+ icon :S

My screen often flashes with a red surround - not sure what this is all about if its a CM feature or not

No Audio in system

Just for giggles , going to insall GTA SA see how that runs

oh wifi is working fine also

Memory has gone from 2.8 something to 2.669 in About phone settings.

If you read the thread someone reported it works fine on the canadian variant and the only issue are the same ones as the n9005 issues.

Just a heads up the second one worked for the sprint variant obviously wiht all the know bugs but the 3rd, when installed and booted up, pops up with countless errors such as web.android.phone and network to the point that I cant go through the first time set up. Other then that thanks SO much for this rom you have no idea how sick I am of TW
