I am truly sorry to be such a pain...

Thats an image file, I have something converting it to MD5 but its not working (and I am not sure I trust this program to be creating the MD5 properly)

Could you send me a Md5?

Thank you once again.
I will be donating to you!
The link I posted earlier is to a .tar file.
Flash it with Odin as it is.

Flash it with Odin as it is.
Done.
With Auto Reboot and F.reset time checked, I also check the box in Odin next to "PDA', clicked on PDA and flashed the 4.3 file and:

Ok WOW !!!
I am in TWRP now But, yet another snag...Touch screen not responding. (I remember when the phone started this nonsense, the touchscreen went unresponsive , thats why I rebooted and then it went into the loop.

Well, this sounds weird. At least you said that the stylus works with TWRP.

A this point the easiest ways to go are:

1. download the latest nightly from the link below, put it on a USB dongle, then connect the USB dongle to the Note (you'll need an OTG cable for this), and flash the CM11 zip from TWRP. Alternatively, if your computer has a Micro SD card reader, you could copy the file to the microsd.

2. If you can't get the latest CM11 installer for whatever reason, boot to TWRP, locate the latest CM11 you have on your device and install it. If it boots fine, you can then download the latest CM installer directly to the phone, reboot and install it.

Ok, I managed to download the latest and installed- Thank you so so much !
Should I be frequently checking back on the Cyanmod website for updates and installing them with TWRP?

Now I just have to figure out why my screen only responds to the stylus and not fingers ? !:fingers-crossed:

Good to hear that you're back on track :)

You can simply go to Settings > About phone > Cyanogenmod Updates and set the frequency and update type (I'd recommend All types).

Now I just have to figure out why my screen only responds to the stylus and not fingers ? !:fingers-crossed:
If it's a software issue you can try the following

1. Reboot to recovery, wipe both cache and Dalvik cache, reboot.

2. If the cache/Dalvik cache thing doesn't do the trick, I'd recommend that you back up all the data you'd like to keep (preferably on external media - Ext SD card, USB stick, computer, etc). You can then completly wipe the device from recovery and re-install CM from scratch (clean installation).

If the situation still doesn't change, it may be a hardware issue.
All I can suggest in this case is to download a stock ROM for your country (if you want to stay on the JB bootloader download a 4.3 ROM) from samfirmware.com and install it through Odin, then take the device to a Samsung service centre and see whether they can repair it under warranty.

Thank you so so much for all of this !- You dont know how much I appreciate it.:highfive::highfive:
I was fearing having to load the stock ROM but that might be the only way.:highfive:

Are you sure your device is N9005? If you're having problems yet again, I'd quit flashing.

Hey guy,

i have installed cm-11-20140708-SNAPSHOT-M8-hlte.zip on my htle with the twrp recovery (openrecovery-twrp-2.7.2.1-hlte-4.4.img.tar) . The istallation was gone but mi SIM is not recognized. So is impossible to use with whattapp or other program that the syncronizzation is necessary. The only way is import the sim contact on the phone. Is also impopssible to add a new number on sim.

Any idea?

Question

Hello,

Is anyone else getting a problem where the screen goes black and when you press the power button, all you see if the time, date and battery level on the top left hand side of the screen? It also shuts off the screen after a few seconds which gives me just enough time to restart the phone (only fix I know so far).

I'm currently running CM-11-20140915-NIGHTLY because it seems that every build after that has this bug except for the one I'm currently running.

Also, I'm having problems where I'm on a call and the proximity sensor doesn't pick up that I've removed the phone from my head so it doesn't turn on the screen for me to use the dialer or disconnect the call.

Thanks for any feedback.
