so am I, I did not take the official update, but testing to get the official kitkat installed with root ( while I was running the rooted leaked kitkat), Installed the wrong files LOL, I learned the hard way that aboot was the heart of the new bootloader. so to get my phone back I had to do not testing and got my phone back running the leak kitkat , but stuck with A3 bootloader.

you talking to me? to use bri's rom you have to be root, we or stuck LOL

I took the Leaked Kitkat and replaced the aboot file in the BL_N900AUCECMGL.tar

used TAR_MD5_PACKAGER to repack

Save yourself hours of time...

I was SMART and visit BB yesterday to reflash my phone after hours failing to update and sideload to NB4 and fixing missing files in the img.ADB method just isn't reliable. The Samsung representative had issues logging on to smart tools. She actually showed me the screen on the laptop. She explained that she has to use her best buy login username and password that is assigned to her to login which was failing. No one in the store did know what the issue was. Since I told her I'm a IT professional she asked for my assistance. I verified SmartTool is the software that is required to flash all the current Samsung phones. The error message required that TLS is required to connect. She was using I.E. to login which was pretty simple access the I.E. settings and enabled it. Right afterwards she was successfully able to login to the Samsung Server. Even if you did have the tool its still useless. The tool is only used to access SAM server only. Plus the laptop she was using I'm sure is dmz or other words the MAC ID of the pc is registered on their firewall to even connected. So having this tool is irrelevant. A real Samsung guru knows Samsung has been using upgraded versions of this to flash it phones. BTW they currently have 4.4.2 available. It took only 7 minutes to flash my At&t Note 3 to Kitkat 4.4.2

I have N900AUCUCMLG on my phone from the leak of KitKat and I can't get other ROMs nor can I root I tried restoring my phone back to MJ5 using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2559715 but my phone keeps getting stuck on the Samsung Note 3 boot logo. Does anyone have a fix? I've been working at finding a solution for 5 hours :/ any help would be much appreciated
I would go slow again and make sure you did not forget something

1 did you check your downloads MD5 number with original, maybe a bad file

how far did you get with heimdall ?

stuck on the Samsung Note 3 boot logo, could be you need to check the MD5 firmware files
attached MD5 checkers, either one will do

I seem to remember having that issue too...seem like it stayed on the samsung logo for a good 10-15 minutes...i was to scared to reboot as i remember having issues before when i had my atrix 2 and bricked it LOL

Try again, and when u get to the samsung logo, let it sit for a while.

I hope this helps you buddy, i had to downgrade from the leak kitkat, so i could update to the official kk

Thank you for your response! I couldn't get anywhere with heimdall because the phone wasn't being detected :/ I'll check the MD5 sums again, thank you!

Wait did you wait after heimdall or odin? Because mine was stuck after odin. That's why it wasn't able to be detected on heimdall, but I'll do it again and let it sit. I already lost all my music and pictures on my internal storage so I don't mind anymore hahahaha... :crying:
