IT WORKED!

I seem to remember having that issue too...seem like it stayed on the samsung logo for a good 10-15 minutes...i was to scared to reboot as i remember having issues before when i had my atrix 2 and bricked it LOL

Try again, and when u get to the samsung logo, let it sit for a while.

I hope this helps you buddy, i had to downgrade from the leak kitkat, so i could update to the official kk
I feel so embarrased! I forgot to hit the "No Reboot" on the heimdall app :silly:

TO ANYONE WHO HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME, (STUCK IN BOOT LOGO) IT'S OKAY, JUST CONTINUE WITH THE STEPS EXACTLY AS INSTRUCTED

Just wanted to say that BestBuy Samsung booth has official 4.4.2 NC2 update rom, but it's not the full factory image.
I was looking at his screen while I was there yesterday and the day before. You can get it to update from MLG or whatever version, but it'll be an update and not a wipe + complete reimaging. I don't really know if there is a difference between them though.

Reason I wanted to a complete factory reset was because there was non-functioning SuperSU installed in /system/app on my official NC2. I forgot to remove it before doing the OTA update, and I was only able to remove it after re-imaging with MLG using Odin, and then by visiting Bestbuy to get the update. After all this, I did a factory reset through recovery menu. I hope it is now the exact same as stock.

SO...can this be used to return phone to AT&T???

Can't seem to find clear answer...for some reason this is the ONLY way my phone would go to 4.4.2, even after going back to 4.3 stock unrooted!

I did the update.zip deal, where you take the download and flash in recovery...no dice. Then, official OTA didn't work....was STILL on 4.3, I then tried this, and success. Now, this is TOTALLY good to take back to the store? :)

i Hope this saves my butt. i flashed a custom rom on my phone without backing up my original rom...
yes it will get you up and running, If you have A2 in download mod then you will have to install the NC2 kernel to get towel root to work

If you have A3 then you will need the Fixed one

How to SIM unlock this baseband?

I bought an AT&T Note 3 on swappa and it has this baseband. I rooted the phone successfully using towelroot but need to sim unlock it to use it overseas. I can't use AT&T unlock request as I have already used up the 5 unlocks/year by unlocking several family devices and my old galaxy s4. I would like to know how I could do it programatically without paying cellunlocker or other similar companies. RegionLock Away
didn't work.

Thanks for any response.
