My Note 3 failed due to a low voltage charger which ultimately fried the motherboard...for a while the phone would boot into recovery, but the screen would turn into an 80's crackling TV screen upon normal boot, now it won't do anything.

I bought a Note 4, but it suffers from the very common bad batch of motherboards where it'll randomly shut down multiple times a day, requiring a battery pull and then getting DMVerity failures 3-4x before it'd finally boot again. I've given up on it.

While I liked the Note 4 better because it was faster and I have an awesome 10,000mah Zerolemon battery, but I can't stand how Sprint changed the network to where it can't use data and make calls at the same time...which I need while making handsfree calls and using Waze while driving. I'm torn between getting a new motherboard for either phone. My question is in regards to the Note 3 though...can we use motherboards from other carriers? Ebay has motherboards for $50-$60 shipped from China that are used, but I can get whole used phones on Verizon or TMobile locally for that price.
