when the phone is switched off with the connection cable attached. it is not charging and the phone is getting very hot. you need to remove and install the battery.

When the phone is in an off state there is no charging animation after I plug in the cable and it's stuck with a frozen screen after I unplug the cable.. All other kinds of boots are fine though..

I noticed this time that the setup had suggested a fingerprint security combo! From the looks of it it works, but I don't have the option to set it as my security just yet..

fingerprint is disabled.

Regarding the calls..
Incoming calls seem to be fixed on my n910c(!), but I've now noticed that ending the call doesn't actually end the call for my home phone... weird.. must be my home phone because I tested with another android S7E and an Iphone SE which work fine..
More observations:
-Calls and all kinds of texts working great!
-The only problem I have come across with the camera is when you turn on flash in video mode then switch to camera mode. At that point you'll have to restart the UI to continue using the camera.
-Turning NFC on/off is inconsistent. Sometimes I can turn it on sometimes I can't and it just sits there grey'd out.

Bluetooth phone call has audio problem . There are a lot of noise that almost can't understand what is saying other side .

See these are one of those comments that nobody wants and this just makes developers feel like it's "suppose" to be their jobs to do it even though they don't have time and aren't paid to do these. I'm betting we'll see more of these in the future ?

Didn't had time to test it yet (I'll do after xmas), anyways, it seems the fingerprint are capable to be register but not capable to be used with the lockscreen, right? Try using a 3rd party one from playstore, usually works.
The sensors works? If so, there's some softwares that will make the Note4 capable of using S-View (even if its just to turn off when the case is closed, good enough for me).

I haven't finished working on fingeprint and forgot to disable it in public build. It will not work in stock or some other software now.

First,Tks for your hard work.
I tried, and here the things:
- Still No record (Videos and audio). (ur list)
- Camera not stable (ur list)
- Finger print work perfect (First boot if u register, it doesnt work. Next register, it works).
- Battery friendly than Version before.

Same as me .
My problems ;
- Bluetooth call is not working (Bluetooth audio is working but phone call has serious noise problem at caller side . Other side can't hear anything) . As I see in LOS threads it is well known problem and couldn't find solution .
-If mobile data active Wifi tethering is not working .
- USB tethering is not working .

I highly advice for you to find someone who want and can support aosp for note4 further. I don’t use this device and I don’t have any motivation to spend all my time for fixing bugs. I was interested in fixing modem here. That’s all. I thought you have stable nougat except modem. I was wrong. So I had to bring up nougat here. Now, after 3 weeks, firmware is stable enough except some bugs for daily usage. I think i completed the mission. Probably I will post any updates here, but this work has low priority in my life.
