Pardon my ignorance. I'm about to buy a AT&T Note 8 today, but AT&T isn't my carrier (as I'm in Jamaica).
Is this the latest firmware for this device? My OCD requires me to have the latest OTA available so I don't have to keep wiping my device each time I sideload it.

Yes you can. There's a newer firmware. The latest is CRE1. I have them, if needed.

Yes, you can still flash the unlocked firmware on AT&T note 8 after the Oreo update. Only the U1 unlocked firmware can be flashed and as long it's still on the same bootloader version. Also, you'll need a different version of Odin to flash for the Oreo update.

I just downloaded the files, I have no idea what I'm doing or how to open them and install them? Can anyone please help me? The Samsung files app says it cannot open the downloaded files And I'm not saying instructions anywhere
