As long as you're running stock files like 3BRA8 or the latest 3BRB2 nougat, you will receive the official OTA release of oreo, whenever it releases.

And Odin tar for latest built is there. And you will get Official updates from AT&T with latest built i linked.

I'm on 3BRA9 right now can I go back to 3BRA8 and then go to Oreo? And if I do I take it I won't get the over the air updates anymore? Sorry about the dumb questions but kinda still new to this. And does this good my warranty just got my phone 3 days ago on j.o.d thru t mobile.

Yes, it is possible to flash 3BRA8 onto your device and try oreo, it won't trip Knox or void your warranty. However, for me personally, I wouldn't do it, when we are just days away from receiving the official release. That's just my opinion.
Im stuck in Android Recovering after flashing this. i tried to push out the update.zip through adb but nothing happens. Anyone know how to fix this?
If you're on the 3BRA8 build, you would need to transfer the update file to your sd card and update 3BRA8 to CRC2 in recovery

Try to go into recovery mode and do a wipe system then apply the update from SD "update.zip".

How do I revert my ATT n950u back to Nougat from Oreo? It just updated today by itself which I didnt want to happen. I want to root this phone which is why I'm asking. Its rev. 3 firmware btw. N950USQU3CRC2. Its also At&t and i belive it was U3BRA9 before my phone decided to upgrade itself to Oreo. Please help

Just simply download the stock 3BRA8 odin files with this odin ODIN v3.12.7 and you will be back to nougat.

Also another question...my service was shutoff with Att so I purchased a new sim from Cricket. Att happens to own Cricket. I was reading the OP about a warning about leaving sim cards in the phone while flashing to the BRA8 firmware. Should I flash the BRA8 files with the old Att sim with no service or flash with the Cricket card in the phone? If i kept the Cricket card in would it still be Att, with the wifi calling and all the other Att features? I just dont want to mess anything up. This will be my first time using odin. Ive done a lot of research and reading through the xda forums, Im confident Ill be fine. Just thought id ask a few ?'s before id start.
