Firmware is now available via SamFirm and Frija, but manual entry is required in a lot more cases than previous models. Hopefully that's just because the phone technically doesn't release until Friday, and that they change that on Friday or soon after.

Manual entry is currently required for VZW, CHA, and TMB U firmware, and for all carriers/regions/CSCs of U1 firmware

Thanks for this post. I purchased the Unlocked version from Samsung. What would I need to make the Unlocked version look like the T-Mobile version with the boot animation and all?

Thanks again.

Flash the U firmware and possibly need to flash the TMO userdata also
But I've heard that maybe the second isn't necessary

I'm ATT and plan to flash U and ATT userdata. Tomorrow when arrives

Looks like everything is back to normal, in SamFirm. Manual entry is now only required for VZW U firmware, as has traditionally been the case. Also, if you type in an older version for VZW, it will automatically give you the newest version, if there is one. So you don't have to always know the exact newest version - entering in the correct details of any previous version should always trigger the newest one.

Also, SH4 is now showing as the newest build for U1, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Spectrum gets SH5 (no idea why), and Sprint is still back on SGO.

I flashed my unlocked Note 10 Plus to the ATT U firmware. I am using ATT prepaid. Right now ATT wifi calling doesn't work with Note 10 Plus but it does work for S10 Plus (and previous models). I am pretty sure this is because the Note 10 is still very new and their system needs some update. I will wait a couple weeks and see what happens.

Then you downloaded the wrong thing. The OP clearly states that U1 is the unlocked model with no carrier bloatware
I have an unlocked phone with no carrier bloatware. I am wanting to get the AT&T features like wifi calling, advanced messaging, etc.

Are they interchangeable? Can I flash the U over the U1

So just got my device

Flashed U firmware and ATT userdata

All features work including wifi calling
Admittedly I took sim straight out of a device that had working wifi calling so if my imei gets updated with ATT it might quit

Yep that's what most users in my S10 threads have experienced. AT&T takes a while to perform the IMEI check/swap in their systems for some reason
