OOPS! My bad...Sorry! re: You can get USERDATAs from SamFirm for everything but AT&T and Cricket

So, how are these other people updating to the ASH4 firmware and not losing functionality? When I flashed, I used the Home_CSC and my data wasn't wiped but I lost all of the important ATT Functionality (wifi calling, VoLTE, etc.) even though some ATT bloatware was still there when the phone rebooted but the ATT startup splash screen was no longer there either.

Can I use the ATT Userdata file that you provided (-ASGO) with the newer ASH4 firmware?

You obviously haven't read the OP
No, USC is not AT&T. USC is US Cellular.

Can anyone with knowledge post what the "userdata" file does and contains?
I am successfully on T-Mobile without flashing that userdata file and I get the T-Mobile splash screen 4G LTE, etc. Everything seems to be perfect

Sorry. Didn't mean to insinuate that USC was ATT. But obviously the person was having trouble reading your OP where the download link clearly links to the ATT userdata file
But I did have to use USC to get the "universal" (works for all the carriers) main U firmware using the Samfirm software (no combination of ATT in Samfirm would work)
Sorry I shouldn't have tried to spoon feed ...... but I was trying to help

Latest build rolled it out for all carriers this build N975USQU1ASH4. I'm on AT&T, i also have those Odin files August patch .
So clearly this whole thing is a little complicated in the way it happens.
I am pretty sure I did every thing correctly.....
And most important I don't want to lose my AT&T Wifi Calling that has worked from the minute I flashed U firmware with the ATT userdata .... BUT @Venom0642 , what did i (we) do wrong since in my about screen I have ATT/ATT/XAA and you have ATT across the board
What do I need to flash (hopefully without wiping) to grey that?

Hmm. I've never heard of any functionality being lost, just from flashing a new version sans USERDATA, and not wiping - that's a new one for me.

The last of the 3 codes indicates where the phone originally came from, and it will never change. If your phone was originally a U1 model, your last 3 will always says XAA. So anyone who has ATT at the end has an original AT&T model

Interesting!! And helpful!!! So I would love to hear from @Venom0642 on this because ALL the discussion here has been about getting calling features on an originally unlocked device (originally U1) so his comments on his apparently originally ATT carrier device ( originally U) [based upon his ATT/ATT/ATT about screen] aren't very comparative to the rest of us ...... correct??
I remember now that to get the third item to change on prior devices I had to have root and change the code in the system files

If that's the case, then I must have made a mistake somewhere. One thing I did do was that I left my SIM card in my phone when I flashed the latest firmware. I did not do that initially when I flashed the firmware from your 1st post going from U1 to U.
I'm going to try again and see what happens.

@jcrompton, I really appreciate you trying to help me. It was probably my own misinterpretation but that is why I asked about it (my UCS =ATT question).

Believe it or not, I read and re-read the OP but I forgot about the ATT Userdata not being readily available for subsequent firmware upgrades. I was successful with the initial firmware flashing in the OP, going from U1 to U/ATT.
What I didn't know is if the ATT Userdata file was necessary for future firmware upgrades or not. I have spent many, many hours reading posts on flashing so I would be prepped but did not see more on the Userdata file and explanations. It can be hard to search through thousands of posts and I did try...

Correct. Anyone with an original AT&T device will never have issues with the calling features because their IMEI is automatically provisioned for all of that. You could try installing W firmware. I don't remember which model they had, but a user once posted that that worked for them

On unlocked Note10+ to TMO. The new Odin 3.13.3 has the warning about deleting Google/Samsung accounts. If unlocked version do we have to delete? I plan on using HomeCSC to keep data. Thanks in advance.

I didn't delete anything. You don't have to delete if it's giving you an option. Sounds to me like it's a warning to avoid issues with frp.

I just flashed from unlocked to TMobile today.

Can you tell me what files you flashed to get to T-Mobile version? I currently have the unlocked version right now.

I used the app here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/how-to/tool-frija-samsung-firmware-downloader-t3910584

Downloaded sm-n975 / TMB

N975USQU1ASH4

Flashed CP, AP, BL, and Home_CSC
Nice, I already had the firmware downloaded using Frija. You said that you flashed those files and it didn't clear/reset anything right? Because I currently have my phone set up and if I can avoid having to set it up again, that'd be nice. I used to know more about these types of things but it's been so long since I've done stuff like this.

Thanks again :)
