Yes, this is the default one that you get from T-Mobile as it leaves the store :D

And as a gift here is a image of 2.51 for T-Mobile UK, I flashed back to my 2.21 version today and forced the updated via Motorola Software Updater.

Thanks for this, good to have a backup, even though I'm sure I can get one at work, this is easier since I usually forget these things when I go to work.

Jboogie3, do you think you can copy the links to these stock roms and update your OP so people who need these don't need to fish for them? Just a suggestion ;)

I am starting this thread so that we can have a nandroid back up that are need for others since we currently dont have all the stock .sbf's to flash. Plz post what you guys can and remember to wipe! dont post a backup with all you data.. or we all will know what you did last night. ;)

How to:
1. make Nandroid backup of rom.
2. wipe data
3. make Nandroid of stock rom and post here.
4. use Recovery to load Nandroid from step1 to get your apps/data etc back.

Taiwan's version factory reset nandroid backup:
(rooted and with tenfar's customized recovery)

System version: Moto_Version.2.51.0.MB525.Retail.en.CH18
Firmware Version: 2.1-update1
Baseband Version: EPU93ST2_U_03.0A.01
Build Version: JRDNEM_U3_2.51.0

I am not allowed to post a link here, so please copy and paste the address:

Thanks for posting, I made the mistake of going to 2.2 without making a nandroid of my 2.1, so this is mighty handy.

This is the stock US rom, ripped off a just-opened US T-Mobile Defy, right out of the box! I will upload until at least 5 people have the torrent, but this is something you should keep if you screw up.

You need a torrent client such as uTorrent to download this, but it is completely safe, I promise.

Had some trouble with the defy recovery. Came into bootloops. Now everything works and I made a nandroid of this original motorola rom:

    JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1_DEBLUR -> Central Europe

Only things I've done: root, defy recovery installed

    JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1_DEBLUR_NANDROID.7z @ hotfile.com :D
