Yeah you might want to look at the 3.0 thread, there is now a fully patched 3.0 version with all premium features, live features and EU maps working.

For the UK that means proper postcodes, google local search, 3D navigation, live traffic info and rerouting, and a history of recent destinations (you can also set favourites). Problem solved!

No full post codes in v3, they are the same as in 1.4 that's downloading all new maps etc.

I read somewhere (cant find it now) that IPhone users could but the postcode pack and add this to their system. Perhaps if someone could get hold of the postcode file we could try with WP7 version.

MapLoader & loading maps for other countries

I'm a noob, so don't want to tell the experts here how to do their terrific work. All the same, not sure if this will help, but collecting info from threads, using MapLoader & loading maps for other countries in 1.4 the method I found works is:

From iPhone package copy relevant country map (???.map), CountryProfiles.nfs, poicats.nfs, RealityView.nfs (or NavigonRealityView_???.nfs), Satellite.nfs (or sat_WORLD.nfs)

rename NavigonRealityView_???.nfs to RealityView.nfs and sat_WORLD.nfs to Satellite.nfs

If there is no NaviKernel.nfs in iPhone package use the original. Edit the region line in NaviKernalConfig.ini from device (see below list).

Don't copy Adivisor.nfs as gives error when Navigon is calc. directions (at 100% mark).

Change the file size of those files in the filelist.xml (right click & properties, the top file size is the one to enter).

Assuming Navigon is installed on device. In MapLoader click proceed after message "Web Server Is Running" copy those files into the MapLoader data folder (not before because data is overwritten by default - any options you pick before 'proceed' changes the files in the data folder). Copy the edited filelist.xml back to device. Launch Navigon & it should prompt to re-download (Of course have MapLoader set up before hand and running with "Web Server Is Running").

I've also copied individual files by editing and coping the edited filelist.xml to device and launching Navigon with MapLoader running as above.

As far as I can determine the regions are:
NA_USA
NA (NA is North Amer., not N/A)
PAC
MEX
BRA
SAC
GCC
RUS
EU

looks like kounadisk found a way to get Navigon v3 to work with US maps.

with the help of sensboston, Navigon v3 now working for US region. You need US Android maps to get this to work.

I try to copy Romania.map file in my device its ok in explorer but when i try to find tihs file whith touch explorer i haved a big suprised i do not find any file in my documents and a do not find file application/data/...... i my device. I disconeted the zune ,i copied the file with wp7 storage. i do not know what to do because i realy ned this navigation for Romania

you cant copy map files directly... you must use WP7 Navigon map installer...

also, way not use Navigon v3.0?

Tanks dxdy i resolved my problem navigon 3 function very well and a have a lot of maps(2Gb) When will I need more space I will try with software version windows 7 maps loader. I have a new problem. Does anyone with the Romanian language file? And if so how do you put in NAVIGON. Say they are very satisfied by 3.0 in English but would be perfect in Romanian. Thank you, you are the best.

Romanian language translation is included in latest build v3.0.1304 (simple change language in settings) but no audio... for now loading other audio than default not supported...

Guys, I got version 1.4.0 and after much effort put in GPS maps of Brazil, but only works well in 2D version.

I saw this version it is able to be seen in 3D, however: Is this map that I have will be compatible with it?

Some Brazilian here that have tested it?

And the last question: If there is no compatibility. Does anyone here would get a map of Brazil for him?

I have India 1.8.1 maps with me. I installed Navigon and added the maps to the maps folder in isolated storage. But in the navigon software i couldnt see the INdia maps. Am i doing something wrong?
