yes use odin 3.09 and use phone/pda slot

Sorry, I also downloaded Bootstrap (3.75?) Along with busy box and it wont boot intonthe boot strap menu. Boostrap has the installed status but it says its not active?

I presume you mean Safestrap... Not Bootstrap. Safestrap doesn't work with Lollipop.

If you are unlocked (bootloader) then TWRP works fine. It is a true recovery, unlike SafeStrap which is a "kinda" recovery.

The bootloader unlock is easy but does require a "spare" external SD card (in the SD slot above the SIM slot) [2GB or higher] because it will be overwritten when you run the unlock. Once unlocked you can put your normal external SD card back.
