Ran the update doing the local instal method. I ended up downgrading back to OOS 12. Big issues was the merged codebase with ColOR OS has changed all the dialer codes and I can no longer access the "Engineering Mode" menu to manually change my mobile network to 5G (NR). On OO12, you can access this menu with either an app or using dialer code *#*#4636#*#*. With the changed codes, I would be stuck on 4G, and without VoLTE. A word of caution for anyone who relies on this menu to access 5G settings or VoLTE.

Have any of you got the India version ? If so, could you please extract the Contacts and Phone apks, if they're not the Google ones of course and share them here, PLEASE ! I loath the Google ones but all my attempts of finding the Op ones have been fruitless.

Hmm interesting,I can't access that menu on NE2213A.15...which Android 12 version did it work for you on?

Maybe Activity Launcher would work? See attached screenshot

I installed A.19 two days ago using Oxigen Updater and yesterday I rolled back to Android 12. It doesn't fill like a final version. Has a lot of issues.
1. NFC was Broken. Google Wallet or ING Bank app couldn't connect to google pay . Pay by phone did not work.
2. Each time the screen was off all active apps in RAM were shut off and needed to reload when I used the phone again.
3. Small delay when browsing the setting menu
4. Shelf looked exactly the same like in previous Android version

I did an incremental update at first then a factory reset on the phone but the issues remains so I rolled back to Android 12.

I will wait for future updates

Interesting how different the user experiences are. I think A13 is much more mature than A12. Paying with NFC, Google Pay/Wallet is also without problems. I have not yet noticed anything negative or so that it would bother me very much. Therefore I'll stay with A13.
I am curious whether I will have similar experiences in the future as you which will ruin the positive opinion that I have so far.

Anyone notice that the home button will not work at times if you close all recent apps?

For me this is intermittent and may not happen in 8/10 goes, but when it does happen, tapping on the home button when in another app/settings, etc, will not allow it to function, but holding the home button can still bring up the google assistant as normal.

I noticed that not all recents are cleared when you press clear all but regarding the Home button I haven't payed too much attention. Is anyone aware of a way to remove the media control tile from the notifications space ?

There's a weird lingering bug that is very often (for me) caused by certain apps. DoorDash triggers this bug pretty much without fail. It like starts to slow your phone, home button won't work, recents won't work.. but a quick restart fixes it immediately. Something I've noticed on the Android13 betas.

Hello everyone. I'd respectfully ask for advice here, as I feel my phone has been ruined by this update.
Completed it early this morning via the Settings » About Device menu and after installing it, there are a few things that simply aren't working:

1. Home / Recent Tasks: They simply don't work. If I open an app, I simply can't go back to home without restarting the device — doesn't matter if I use gestures or button controls, the behavior is the same. Tried installing Fluid Gesture Navigation from Play Store and the problem persisted.

2. Settings: The cog button in the Notification Center doesn't work either, not taking me anywhere.

This is making the phone basically unusable. Did anyone notice any similar problem? I did search for posts mentioning similar issues, but couldn't find any. I'm clueless on what to do as, again, I'm far from an expert. Anything I can try other than doing a factory reset? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I'm suffering similar issues with the whole recent/home button scenario, but not as bad as yours. The only way I could get it to somewhat work is, if I use the recent button and close apps, then i must tap on the recent button again before I do anything else and then the home button would work.

I extract it with the fastboot enhanced. Do you know why I got the error message that the boot partition is incremental even If I downloaded the full OTA?
Check the box that says allow incremental ;)

    Two reasons:
    1. You never know which modules can cause issues with new builds
    2. Because you want the stock boot in your current slot (let's say slot A), so that when you update and it switches to the other slot (let's say slot B), you have the clean boot for failover in case there is an issue booting in the new slot
There's no need to uninstall Magisk, but yes disabling Magisk modules is a must unless they're 100% compatible, chances are we don't know yet.

My center clock mod is definitely not compatible
