NE9 Modems Any Better Than NGC?

Has anyone noticed any improvement with the new modems? I am getting good results with the NGC's but just curious? Also, if installing modem with Odin, which button do you use to associate the .tar file to?

I'm just running root with Xposed, no safestrap so I would have to odin the modem, yes?

I don't know about the new modem, but you have to use Odin to flash it, regardless whether you have safestrap or not.

Well, there are both .tar and .zip versions out there ... Hence the question .... whichbutton / line of odin do you use for the modem ? Putting it on the wrong one can produce ugly results !!
