I want that WSA on Windows use less RAM than 4GB
It automatically acquires 4GB ram even when a single application is running.

Any method to limit its max ram usage to 2GB like we can do in WSL or installing it on Hyper-V Manually.

OR Alternatively, a custom ROM to install on WSA, which is more efficient and uses less RAM for low-end devices. with Android version 5.0 or nearby it.

MS will surely have thought of something that they assign 4GB RAM to the emulator by default. :)

The emulator is a closed system. AFAIK 2GB RAM it needs itself, 2GB is for Android OS it runs.

Android 11 - what WSA is based on - requires 2GB RAM in order to work smoothly and offer a full set of functions,

Its based on Hyper-V virtulization.
Its a emulator but Microsoft has some apps in it.
Some in android and some on Windows.
which connects android to windows.
So apps added in android will be available in start.

Its a Virtual Machine on Hyper-V but not available in hyper-V manager.
all settings are predefined and I cannot finding a way to change its RAM allocation.

Same concept like WSL...

Also its a new thing so not much help is available on this topic.

@kha333n

Why do you want to have WSA less than 4GB RAM assigned by default?
FYI: The apps in the Amazon Appstore require 8GB of RAM (16GB recommended).

I checked android system is using about 700 MB of RAM.

1.2 GB with Lords Mobile game running.

I have also installed Playstore and Play services and some other apps.
