Slingplayer devices have for all intents and purposes been abandoned by the company. The slingplayer app works great on the Fire TV 1 , but had lots of issues on newer Fire TVs such as my 2nd gen cube. The audio is out of sync and the menus are broke.
I'd like to experiment with decompiling it and then recompiling it with a newer SDK. Maybe that will fix it? Can a tool like this be used? https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1755243
