I recently bought a Cherry Mobile Tegra Note and didn't notice on the ad that the previous owner updated to Lollipop. Defeated the purpose of me buying it since I wanted a powerful device to stay on Kitkat to avoid ART compatibility headaches. So i proceeded to search through the xda forums and found Supertool and stock 4.4 images (both from rootjunky).
Bootloader was unlocked without a hitch. TWRP was installed. And I was flashing away . Then the device goes into a crazy bootloop in which I see it start up only to have instant error messages then reboot. I tried again and same thing happened again...
So I decided to use Supertool's "Restore 5.1" option which according to it, was successful. It just gave me an entire night of "TEGRA NOTE" screen which I thought was just the new rom slowing down at first boot. So now I'm stuck... TWRP disappeared and Supertool can't install it again since the device starts in fastboot already...
Is there a way to flash a ROM while in fastboot? or even a custom recovery?
I was thinking of downloading an older version of Supertool and using that to "restore to 4.4" but I think it will make the situation worse. So I'll wait for help instead of making the situation worse. AT least I have fastboot and I got my bootloader unlocked
