Need help getting retail mode off of a GS5.

Hey Everyone,

As my post history will show i work for big red on the indirect side. We closed some doors a few months ago and Samsung never came to pick up their displays or devices. We have tons of Samsung devices as this table was the larger 8 unit setup and went through two generations. One of the devices left was an S5. I have a NOTE 3 and am waiting for the Edge to release and wanted to play with the GS5 in the mean time (I also have a Tab S that I want to sync with). I've discussed all of this with the samsung rep and he told me to just host some contest with the devices and give them away. I was given unlock information but none of it works. I tried to update the stock firmware with Odin but it wont get retail mode off. All of the devices have radios in them and i can use it, but the retail mode continues to come up.

I'd love to play around with the phone if anyone has a fix for this. If not, the world doesn't come to an end.

Have you tried just doing a factory reset?

I'll need some more information, if you could send me whatever info they gave you via PM, we can go from there. Conversion from Demo models to Consumer isn't too tough

I went ahead and just used Odin V3.09 with the ALL_VZW files vs going back and forth with these passwords. Phone is up and running... now time for a new rom.

Im dissapointed in the camera quality... Though it has a lot of Megapixels I feel my M8 that I use for work puts out far better images.

These are the passwords I've used. I have 20 of these retail mode sm-g900v gold phones. I only went through 2 of them and the odin 309 and samsung firmware did not work.
I've done the "wipe cache". Take the battery out and wait 20 seconds. I even danced around my office chair to see if that would help. I tried 2 other computers. NOTHING. This retail mode is stupid. The sales person should be able to tell you about the phones features. What do they get paid for?

I'm out of options here. Can anyone please guide me in the right direction on how to get these phones out of demo / retail mode please.
