need help, im locked out my phone

My son got a hold of my phone, when i first set up my evo i used a gmail account that i made for it temp. so i dont even remember what my email was. i know what i my code is my pattern code. but it wont let me get to that point it just says to many attempts. and requires my email. is there any way with out factory restore to get it to ask me for my code? i dont want to have to re flash my evo to work on cricket again.

Unfortunately no. Not bashing you or anything, but I don't see why people would make an email and not remember the address or password. You should always write down usernames and passwords in a safe place just in case something liek this happens.

no i understand. but when i set up this phone i didnt know it was gonna be mine. long story. it was a temp phone then became mine. i dont put my email on a temp phone

Try wiping cache and dalvik, maybe it'll give you the option to use the pattern again. You could just wipe data, I wouldn't think you'd have to reflash just because of that.

Agreed, factory reset from your recovery whatever it may be should resolve the issue. There are several other ways that are more technical and likely beyond the scope of this post.

I have wiped the lock code off a tablet through adb, if u can find out where number of attempts are located u can probably wipe that, just gotta figure out what table and value u are looking for and hope u have debug on

This worked to delete the lock code you could maybe play around and see if you can find attempts on the table, or delete the lock code and see if that tricks the phone into unlocking
