Ok. I have done something never done before. I put a note 3 on a rocket and launched it. First 4k video from onboard.

NOW. if you watch the video and are quick you can see what I want fixed. notice how it goes blurry when the motor ignites?

this is the G forces of liftoff PHYSICALLY pulling on the AF lens system harder than the little AF lens motor can account for. as the thrust lets off you can see the AF motor regain control and focus the camera.

What I need is to know if someone can physically "hack" my camera module to LOCK the camera to fixed focus (infinity) glue it in place physically so it CAN NOT move and maybe disconnect the power trace to the AF motor so the system does not attempt to focus (since I think this causes a fault under higher g loads. on a G74 the camera app I was using kept going but the camera "faulted" or something because I only got a 1.3mb corrupted file.

since the phone did not turn off and the app was still running I simply assume this was a fault in the camera. maybe too many volts to the AF motor caused a fault as it tried to compensate for the G load ??

I used a softer burning motor (80 newtons max 50 newtons sustained) and it stayed running.

suggestions?
