Need help with app

Hello to all ! I have a app that runs on my SGS6 G920F android 5.1.1 oficial (rooted) but one feature is not working and that's the GPRS )internet) . I use a GMATE , the phone and sms functions of the app work but when i set theAPN of the app and turn it on i get : NETWORK INITIAL BOOT FAILED. This thing is not present on android 2.1 , 2.2, 2.3 on my older phones. HOW can i run this app in compatibility mode ? or something like that to believe that it is run on a older android device like 2.1 2.2 2.3 !?
