Do we need a kernel in particular to use L speed in perfect conditions ? Or does it work on any kernel (custom or stock)

I Will test it on my OP3 , stock OOS 4.1 (Android 7.1.1) and with custom kernel from Lord Boeffla (Boeffla-Kernel)

My principal goal is improving Battery life, my OP3 is so fast that I Don't need it any faster

I Set L speed to improve battery life on my OP3,

Since I Updated my OP3 to 7.1.1 I Never get a night with 0% battery drain.

Yesterday I Installed L Speed , and tonight my phone drained 0% battery.

It's a good start.

I will report my SOT and Standby times after a couple of charging cycle

What version did you install ? Stable or Beta ? Can you direct me with the link please ?
And could you please share your L Speed Settings ? Screenshots maybe

I use both, I just didnt touch the kernel and CPU related options on L Speed. Have not run into problems yet.
the point is, for testing purposes at least they both at most of their features manipulate the governors, so if you have an AKT profile applied and L Speed with some battery fixes, there's a big probability only one of them is effective , and maybe they cancel each other out.

Speaking of, do you know if there is a point on changing entropy? I've searched around but is 50/50.

Do those of you who have installed L Speed still pass SafetyNet? I would assume not since you're modifying /system but I'm not sure
Nope, L Speed is systemless and /system partition won't be touched :)

It mostly have an effect on older devices, OP3 doesn't need it at all :)
i have L Speed installed now, consider me a tester...do you need something specific
i'm on latest 4.1.0 OSS .
Well, release from yesterday is one of the most stable till now. I need to know does everything apply well on the device, also how does it interact with it. Any slowdowns or so. This require a bit of time.

Thanks :)

the older version had little effect to be honest, i have the new one installed now and i'm starting a battery cycle with it installed now from full charge...
i usually without anything except disabling few google play services wakelocks + naptime get around 5+ SOT the mobile lasts a day on heavy usage and more on medium, so... here's a benchmark i think...
i'll do at least 2 cycles, i'll update you after each ends.
