I need to put my phone back to stock for warranty (no more touchscreen)...

What I did was to go s-off via Juopunutbear S-OFF NO VOID WARRANTY ROOT, installed clockwork-mod and rooted - never left stock ROM.
So factory reset is not a problem - but I need to restore bootloader.
From what I read the way to go ist to flash RUU - but I can not find the one I need:

3.32.111.11

Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Or is there another way of flashing back only bootloader?

many thx!

No that is my bad I thought you were needing the T-Mobile US stock ROM. I think you will have to flash back to the stock Gingerbread ROM (look here for it). But if your touch screen is not working you may not be able to flash the OTA for ISC after you use the RUU. You can try this post form this thread. The thread is on the T-Mobile Poland OTA and the post I linked has a download for it. Remember you will have to flash the stock recovery, download it from here.

well.. maybe I am mixing things up here

version-bootloader: 1.27.0000

I never flashed any bootloader? 'recovery' is the menu I get in to with vol- + power? and is a seperate flash?
Then this would be the only thing I need to change back and then go s-on again?

Stock ROM is still on my device...

Is this correct?

Well If you are not rooted and you have not flashed a custom kernel you might be okay to just flash the stock recovery back and then S-on your device. But I highly recommend you flash either a RUU or the OTA update before you use " fastboot oem writesecureflag 3" to GO back to S-on. If you do not there is a chance you will soft brick your device and have to use the "Unbricking Project" to unbrick your device.

ok - this might sound paranoid - but doing OTA with same device a 2nd time would just be like saying 'yeah - I've been flashing...' / and as you say, OTA will not be possible without touchscreen
I would like to go 'stock recovery' but the link you posted 380MB must be more than that - or is there a 'recovery.img' within there somewhere? (Can't be flashing a polish ROM...)

thx

As long as you have the correct stock ROM on your device, no matter if it is Gingerbread or ICS , and you are not S-off. It does not matter if you have been flashing. I think Samsunge is the only OEM with Flash counters in thier devices. Do this so it can make this for me. Post all your device info here for me. Rom version, firmware version, radio, device model ID, your CID, and kernel. This is the stock Gingerbread ROM for you, "RUU_Pyramid_TMO_DE_1.45.111.2_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01". The TMO_DE is what tells me that as that is the T-Mobile code for Germany. The Recovery I linked you to cam straight from the T-Mobile US stock Gingerbread Recovery and is the same exact link that is in this thread because it is hosted from my Dev Host account.

well - I was trying to figure out if recoveries were compatilbe / interchangable if I could only flash recovery_signed.img from the older RUU or a different 3.32 RUU

then again - why risk it - I flashed 1.45.111.2

I thinks its not very likely I never did the OTA - but who is going to prove otherwise right?

THX - phone will be swapped tomorrow...
