NAVIGON crash

Hello,

my Xperia Neo is running latest LegacyXperia ROM 140816 and I am trying to run my NAVIGON select today for the first time. As Navigon 5.2.2 crashes, I updated to 5.2.6 but with no luck. I know 5.2.2 was running in earlier builts of your ROM, so I guess the fault may be caused by the ION kernel?

I attached the errorlogs I found in the /data/system/dropbox folder, so maybe this helps?

Please make my NAVIGON work again ;)

NAVIGON still crashes after clean install of the latest version of the ROM. Can anyone confirm this as a general issue? Am I the only one, having this problem? Does anyone have an idea?

Wow. This build is so cool. Works like a charm. Excellent battery life compared to the previous battery life. One problem is

Does this build has any problem when Viber is installed in it. I saw that the device was rebooting couple of times when the device went into sleep mode and viber was installed. Once I removed the viber it is working fine.

One enhancement that I would like to have in the CM-11 is, can we have the latest version of Sony Bravia Engine as part of the ROM ? ( Not sure if it is already part of the ROM, if already exist then sorry ignore this request )

Few pages back, viber was reported as causing bootloop ...

On the OP it is specifically stated that this is a PURE CM ROM nothing will be added ...

@mikeioannina

This is not a log?

Those crash logs were created with a privious built, but at the moment no such files are created in the /data/system/dropbox or /data/tombstone folder. Navigon starts and freezes with the startup logo after 2 or 4s. Then android reboots, but no crash log can be found any more.

I attached a [email protected] and a logfile created with logcat after a fresh reboot while starting the app. A closer look shows a kernel panic in the LAST_KMSG while accessing the sdcard?!

BTW.: This is the only issue I found with this ROM. It is really a very good one and I am impressed about its performance. I have to thank you very much for your efforts to show the world, the possible power of such "old" devices. Everyone hunts for more and more CPU performance but unfortunatelly only few people really care about its perfect use. Most power is wasted today by bloaded frameworks and poor software design.

This is indeed the best rom I've used on this device. I did run into some problems though.

Using the previous rom version for a few months, I've noticed that, even though it was really fast and smooth in the beginning, after some time it started lagging increasingly, to the point of not being usable at all after a few months (I couldn't even answer a call cause it wouldn't show up on time). I did clean the cache regularly and I had only the apps I was using installed (I used mounts2sd but I noticed lagging even without it). I have now installed the new version with a clean install and it's lightning fast again, but I'm wondering if it's going to start lagging after a while again. I noticed the same with all roms actually.. Can that be avoided?

Problem number two. After installing the new version (clean install as I said) I cannot play mp3s at all, nor can I use applications that use mp3 audio files.. The ringtones play normally and so does the sound on videos, but when I try to use an mp3 as a ringtone, or when I try to play some mp3 with an application (like Google music or shuttle) or when I try to use an application like duolingo I can hear no sound.. I've tried a clean install twice but nothing changed. I have the latest rom version and gapps minimal x. I also tried both the embedded kernel and dark kernel but it's the same. Any ideas?
