can we disable emojis and enable standard smileys in new keyboard? because it takes too much space in text messages,increases the length of messages.
2nd is swipe to right and google now not workingleftmost homescreen should be google now..how to enable it?
also i confirm linked apps not working..it force closes

but overall the build is too good for alpha!!!
it solves two main issues of cm 10.2 jb..
-wifi problem
-battery life
both are solved.
also system is fast and responsive..just some minor problems..like lag in defaut browser,no problem with chrome..
boot time is also then then jb 4.3

looks like lx 4.4 builds will fly high my xperia neo in future releases..

Use google experience launcher for that. Find it around xda. Trebuchet doesnt have that feature.

unfortunately GravityBox doesnt seem to work on kitkat for now

install xposed framework+gravity box
it will give you whole lot of options including button size,transparancy,..bla bla nd so on..

edit: as mastaowen said,gravitybox dosent seem to work now..but most probably gravitybox will update and add support for kitkat..so keep refreshing yourself about it

Xposed does work on 4.4,
and Gravity Box is also upgraded for 4.4

@mikeioannina mic is the only big problem I'm facing on all of the cm builds ... Low volume while recording audio/video , hope this will be fixed in future builds... About kitkat it's simply superb

bug spotted in camera app. scene mode: mode's caption is wrong, disable show "night", action show "none" and night show "action" .


To those who want to enable osb, this is the link to download flashable zip (ya, i search around xda and learn myself to make 1 ).

Ops, i accidently enabled all way rotation, i suppose i made this for my own use.

There is another way enable OSB without flashing the zip above, adding this line to build.prop

qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

but the default OSB pix provided in original framework is 48pix which is very thick.
So if you want a smaller pix, download the zip at above link.

additional: If you want to make your systemui transparent (including OSB), change the following line:

ro.config.low_ram=true

to

ro.config.low_ram = false

My back button not respon for a time
So i must reboot

When reboot just stack on kernel logo and i must pull off the battery

No mtp and msc mode

Screenshot with strange sounds

Toggle network no 3g only

Wifi and bluetooth work well

Smooth ui
Good battery life
Xposed work

That big back button isn't due to dimensions being wrong... In the nav bar layout its scaled wrongly...

can try ghostfreak's jb key board within this forum(Xperia Neo Development). English keyboard works well but chinese keyboard got FC. just delete chinese keyboard from the zip and install. I'm using it now, delete LatinIME.apk from either system/app if you don't want keep it for free some space.

did you free some space in system partition? the whole KK rom and lite gapps provided by mike takes 399.5MB of system partition (practically you can't flash anything more with that space left [ 0.5MB? ] ) I advice to delete apps that you don't rely on them very much.

things i deleted to get 75MB free space in system partition currently are: unused sounds from notification, ringtones, alarms in system/media, google tts, pico tts ( include pico tts folder at system) , facelock.apk (include pittpatt in vendor), latinIME(original kb from this rom), and i used my own modified compressed framework(from 12 mb to 6 mb). Planning to delete stock browser and chromium.so in lib folder too since stock browser is too lag to be use (to be replace by chrome, install as system?)
