NOW you are also supporting cm11

False, FXP stopped stopped at CM10. CM10.1 and up is being developed for 2011 Xperia by LXP team, consisting of different members.

it's time to move on to kitkat .. no more fxp only lxp :p

CM10 is the most recent version that works with the stable 2.x kernel instead of buggy 3.x kernel. So: less wifi bugs, great battery life, and more stability. Also, CM10.1+ uses significantly more RAM for stuff like lockscreenwidgets.

i know but kitkat gives the same battery and performance of gb on 3.4+ kernel and it is still in alpha stage but need to sacrifice camera :silly:
fxp is the best team but they moved on so should we ..:good:

maybe I am one of very few using FM radio, but lack of support in LXP releases is forcing me to stick to CM10, so would be nice to have final stable build...

Hi!
Is there step-by-step tutorial how to install cm-10-20131224-FXP-smultron.zip on my ST15i? I unlocked bootloader. What should I do next? I have stock 4.04 and I would like to install cm10. Do I need to flash the kernel or not? Just CWM and than install CM?

Install instructions:
1. Install a Recovery (there are some around this forum) #Ok, I can probobly find how to do this
2. Flash Rom #Not a problem
3. Flash gapps #Not a problem
4. Wipe (only required 1st time) #Not a problem
5. Flash kernel (fastboot flash boot boot.img) #How do I do this, can someone help me? Which tool do I need to use?

Ok, I installed flashtool and found boot.img.

I found this tutorial here:
If you have unlocked bootloader, flash a custom kernel. That way you'll have CWM. Since all custom kernels come with CWM.

I have unlocked bootloader. Can I now flash the boot.img kernel with the flashtool and than enter in CWM, and than flash ROM from SD card?

Do I need to root since all custom kernels are pre-rooted?
Another thing: all custom kernels are pre-rooted. Which means if you have an unlocked bootloader, flash a custom kernel and you will have root.

Thank you, you helped a lot! I thought ROM and kernel was the same ;) Now I know the diference between unlocking the bootloader, flashing the kernel and flashing the ROM.

Here is what I did with my Xperia Mini ST15i, maybe it would help some noob like me to do it faster:
1. Unlocked the bootloader via Sony site. You send IMEI and then you get your unlock code immeditely
2. From freexperia blog fxpblog.com downloaded CM10, last supported CM for ST15i
3. Installed flashtool and flashed kernel (press volume up and connect the phone and PC via USB,LED is blue, run flashtool, flash kernel with boot.img file from CM10 zip)
4. Go in CWM mode (press volume down and power on the phone) and install ROM which you saved earlier on your phone's sdcard
5. Turn on the phone, copy gapps for CM10 to sdcard and then reboot to CWM and install gapps from zip

Can I use FXP ROM from http://fxpblog.co/ on a rooted device with locked bootloader? Or is it just for unlocked bootloader and how can I know what kind ROM is it, for locked or unlocked BL?

We said it already several pages back CM10 is last release for 2011 devices
Those devices use an old kernel (2.6.32) and old blobs for camera (ICS)
So even making those work with cm10 (jellybean) was an real pain
To update kernel to 3.0 we will require 6+ months (not worth for an 2 year old SOC) limited in hardware and memory
Even if we take this effort this device will not be able to handle next version of android after 4.2 because it simply lacks RAM

Even for Jellybean we had to use legacy camera to be able to use camera in an proper way (with broken panorama)
What's the benefit of having latest android if your device is not able to use new features?

We will continue fixing cm10 and releasing weekly updates with latest JB progress
