@graham535i
It's a known bug with the marketplace version, only the sideloaded version works until Microsoft can put through my update.

@DavidinCT
If the current progress keeps up, I'll probably start closed beta testing in a couple of weeks. Still have a lot of things to do with the GUI and emulation.

So far I've added;
Jumplist for the games
Save states nearly 100% working
New controls system; Portrait Mode, Extra hitboxes, Easier to create different layout
Started working on Skydrive integration; Add games, Backup saves, Restore saves etc.
Plus tons of internal changes that aren't worth mentioning
Separated the core of the emulation in vNESLight from everything else, it will be uploaded to codeplex eventually.

Planned;
Hardware keyboard support
Performance improvements
Improved game compatibility
Fixing Sound issues
New pause menu
Multiple save states
Polish!

Maybe (if time);
Dropbox integration
Virtual Lightgun
Switching to player two controller

So there's still a lot of things to be done and there will be an extended testing period this time around. Because u can't depend on App Hub not utterly failing and delaying your fix for months.

edit: This is also a good time to request any planned features not mentioned, I'll always take it under consideration.
Thx Nudua,
but I didn't understand this : is the marketplace version up to date ?
I still get the error from Isolated Storage when I try to install a new game ...
The 0.6 beta has not been accepted in the marketplace yet ??? :(
The beta 0.6 is the updated version, am I wrong ?

I have an HTC Titan and I can't sideload apps ...

Yeah the current version is still waiting for the update. t_t Microsoft, I should get a status update this week probably. Sad that Chevron doesn't have any more tokens.

@tiny17
Nearly done with the implementation ;)

As for beta testing of the 1.0 version, I'll contact the usual and let new ones join as well. I'll probably do it via the marketplace beta thing so people don't need to be unlocked.

I just hope the devs will find a way to interop unlock HTC 2nd generation like they did with Samsung ...

I think the update is live now on the marketplace. I just installed 0.6? on my Titan. Added games and everything. I didn't read the last few pages, so I am not exactly sure what you guys are actually talking about, so sorry if this is a repost reply.

Awesome, I saw it had been published last night, but I was going to wait until it actually showed up. (in case they messed up even more)

Seams to be available everywhere, downloaded from the US and Norwegian Marketplace just now.

Direct link for those who still have a cached marketplace: http://windowsphone.com/s?appid=3d8e51b8-1884-4aa7-bb2c-2eda47745a27

Wow thx for you hard work, it works great now ...

Just a little feedback :
I tried to install a game, and it still gave me the Isolated Storage error.
I removed the 0.6 and reinstalled it, and now it works.
Dunno why I had to reinstall it :/

I can't reproduce the problem because now it works (it installed 2 files in row)

Ah great, it has the same issue as the sideload version, fortunately it only affects single files. Adding zip/rar files works fine, and everything works when u re-install.

Didn't think they would put that version through even, I'll probably send in another small update in a few days then.

edit: nevermind i can't reproduce it anymore, tried from dropbox instead of my web server. (the damn file wasn't available because of the extension) so everything should be OK.

edit2: if more people could try adding single nes files, that would be appreciated http://nudua.net/battlekid.nes can be used.

Added your single game and my zip just fine.

---------- Post added at 09:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:25 PM ----------

Feature request- can you add adjustable volume controls? The Titan can be loud on 1/30 at night.

Oh and does this version have the adjusted sound buffer? Sound seems a bit choppier than the last one you sent me with it changed.

@ryotgz
I'll add volume control to the list. The sound is kinda low on the Omnia W ;s

It should be the same buffer size, I've made some more improvements in the current version. So should be better.

@DavidinCT
Yeah I'll have to finalize the control data format, and create a tool so people can start making their own themed controls and such.

Funny thing, apparently EMU7800 (an atari 2600/7800 emulator) had been pending since November for certification. And it finally got failed for a minor issue on the same day as my update got put through.

He was told that it was under review for policy issues, while I was told repeatedly that there was an issue with the marketplace and that my update was 'stuck' in a pending state that needed a fix to be implemented first.

Maybe I should try asking again about the policies, but sadly my emails get either ignored completely or answered vaguely/skirted around. But I guess as long as the updates keeps getting certified, I should be happy. It's just annoying that **** like this is keeping others from making emulators for WP7.

I'll be curious to see what happens with Sonic's Jewels and the re-submission of EMU7800.

You did an awesome work dude ...
I just have to quote ryotgz about the choppier sound ... what do you mean with "It should be the same buffer size, I've made some more improvements in the current version. So should be better." ? Are you releasing a new (0.7) version in the marketplace ?

No i meant for the 1.0 release, that's the next one.

0.5 and 0.6 are essentially the same besides the fix for isolated storage issues.

Wow you are ready to the 'big step' :D

Usually homebrew devs are scared of the '1.0' eheh no offense intended, just joking around ;)

Again thx for your hard work.

Sorry if I go a little offtopic ...
I look for informations about EMU7800 and I found this :
http://emu7800.sourceforge.net/

I looked on this forum to find other informations but I found nothing ...

They write this in the 1.0 Changelog :
"Initial Windows Phone release to Windows Phone Marketplace"

So they released it ? They submitted to the marketplace and they failed ? Do you have accurate informations about this ?

:/

EDIT : I just found you wrote the same thing 1 month ago ... dunno why my search failed the first time ...
