.NET Compact Framework

Hi.
I have the HD2 T8585. Now I have installed CHT and CHTEditor. The problem is that CHTEditor requires .NET CF v3.5.9198. I tried downloading .NET CF from Microsoft but I cant install it since I have a newer version. So I download the .NET CF from here and when I try to install it it says that I have the same version installed in the ROM(i have the stock ROM). I then downloaded the netcfcfg and set CTHEditor to run with .NET CF v3.5.9198 but it gives the same error.
The error is: .NET CF Initialization Error
"To run this application, you must first install one of the following versions of the .NET Compact Framework: v3.5.9198. Contact your application publisher for instuctions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Compact Framework."

BTW, I now see that some other apps, such as Bing, wont run, they give the same error.

Edit: Since nobody has answered I'll try to make it simple.
The .NET CF 3.5 that came with the phone ROM wont work. And i cant reinstall it since its in the rom.

do a hard reset, if that doesnt work reinstall the rom or try one of the chefs custom roms they are all very good.

unfortunately it sounds like you have tried all the options to avoid having to do this already.

btw i have tried to install a custom rom but my phone has a strange error in active sync. when i copy a file, it gives me an error that the device has been disconnected but it copies the file, but this doesnt happen when i connect the hd2 as a usb stick. and because of this i cant install HSPL.


Edit. whew it worked like a charm.
