The below reddit thread confirms that a Oneplus 8 user, after updating to Android 11 (Official Oxygen) regained L1 status for DRM-apps such as Netflix, while being rooted with Magisk. (Obviously bootloader unlocked)
Oneplus estimates the Android 11 update would roll out for us in March / April 2021.
