ok guys... the moment you have all been waiting for.. I have netflix running on my streak 7 running Streakdroid 1.3 (2.2.2) I installed the latest netflix app and then used the same patch that got it working on the Asus Transformer.

Steps: Install the latest Netflix App
Then boot into clockwork recovery and flash the patch zip.
reboot and enjoy!

Credit for the patch goes to Mistar Muffin

EDIT: It seems without the patch netflix will work with the Froyo rom but with HC 3.2 I needed to install the patch

Same here, it would run, but would give me a network error of sorts from the Netflix app. I installed the patch after renaming the original file, and it worked great! It does take out the camera though--it worked when I first started it, but tried to change to the back camera and it FC. For right now, I would rather have Netflix than the camera, so I'm sticking with it till an official version comes out. Thanks!!

Yeah, i'm hoping dell really does push the official honeycomb update, it'd be freaking awesome.

The only thing bugging me right now is the screen density, which i can change if i root, but then the honeycomb update might not work.

Yeah I went back to froyo because of the density. The cam not working on hc I think has to do with the sdcard not mounting right as Steve said. I had the cam fcing on froyo as well but I reformatted the sdcard and it worked fine after that.

NOOB Help: run patch without recovery

Ok so on froyo it works without the patch. When I installed HC 3.2 it wouldnt work until I ran the patch
graffixnyc - with no recovery on HC I'm afraid I don't know how to run the zipped patch. I can use adb devices and see the device. Can I just use 'adb install <file>' to run the patch with honeystreak?

Thanks for the help - Andy

As discussed in the HC thread:
You can you file explorer w/root access (i used es) and extract it to your system/lib. Make sure to rename your current libnvomx.so to libnvomx.bak so you can restore (if you want) the old file as this WILL neuter your camera. Followed by a reboot.

I really hope an official honeycomb update comes out, too :D.

P.S. Thanks OP, good stuff!
