Hello,

Today my phone received the OTA for Oreo. Installation was done without any problems.

The only problem I have now, is that NetGuard is blocking all traffic. I checked everything mentioned in the NetGuard FAQ (questions 21 and 51). I also posted a question in the Netguard forum. The developer replied that if the advices in the FAQ don't solve the problem, the problem is in the Android version of the phone.

Are there any Moto G5S Plus owners that use NetGuard? Are you running Oreo? If NetGuard is running properly I would like to know your settings. May that may help me solve the problem.

I have Android 9 and similar problems.
Once I turn on data filtering and use the host file, all Internet traffic is blocked.
No connection at all. Strangely enough, it works via WLAN, but not via mobile data.
And I, a fool, also bought it. And donated. The developer makes it too easy for himself. In the beginning it worked!

You are quoting an almost one year old question I asked. About half a year ago I also posted an answer to my own question. The problem was in Motorola's firmware, and was solved in an update. So don't blame Netguard or it's author without knowing the cause of the problem. :)

I know what's causing the problem. It is not the firmware of the Note9.
It is a problem with Netguard v.2.266.
I have downgrade to v2.261 and it works again.
That's why I wrote yes that it worked in the beginning.
It is not always due to the firmware of the devices - even if this is often claimed ;) .
