I stumbled upon this Smart Watch on a Swedish web store, and couldn't find any information on it, except for one pretty obscure youtube video. Anyone heard of it? The specs seem sweet enough.

I'm interested. If it wasn't for the rain/snow earlier to day, I had taken the bike to Webhallen and bought one. But now I think I will wait for your review before I decide.

Hey! I haven't had much time playing with it yet actually. But I can say that it is worth the money! It's like a small cellphone on your wrist. I'm going to flash another rom onto it. Starting with the Omate. Actually easier to text with your fingers than expected.

Sounds great, very tempting to buy one now. Got any opinions on the battery life?

Need to try it out more to give an opinion about the battery. I've heard that the custom Omate rom should really give battery a boost. Will try both original and custom when time allows. Working very much now.

I just ordered this on Amazon for $199 + expedited shipping.
http://www.amazon.com/Iconbit-Calli...x240pix/dp/tech-data/B00HSYMNE2/ref=de_a_smtd

I'm currently using the Sony Smartwatch 2 (only my 5th day or so), but if I like the Callisto 100 enough, I plan on returning the SW2. I was planning on possibly getting the Omate Truesmart, but this might turn out to be better! ... Or maybe not, since this (according to the Iconbit site) states that it is not waterproof. I believe the other specs are very similar. Some differences are the price, camera, processor, ram/storage, display, and being waterproof or not. The Truesmart has a 5mp camera while the Callisto has a 3mp camera. Also, unless I'm mistaken, the camera is placed better on the Truesmart (the Callisto's camera placement is just strange...).

I might also be wrong about this, but the Truesmart has two options for the processor (both Cortex A7): Truesmart is 1.3Ghz dual-core and Callisto is 1.2Ghz dual-core.
Truesmart has two options for RAM/ROM: 512 MB processor with 4GB or 1 GB with 8 GB. Callisto has only one option: 512 MB and 4GB. With the same RAM/ROM, the Callisto is $199 and the Truesmart is $249.
Display: Truesmart has 1.54" TFT while Callisto has 1.54" IPS. Note: Truesmart has Sapphire Crystal Glass, said to be used by many watchmakers and scratch-proof. Iconbit doesn't say what their's is made of.

All other specs seem pretty much the same.
I hope to be getting the Callisto this Friday/Saturday and I'll be glad to post a video on YouTube and some thoughts on here, if people are interested.

Finally, I'm sorry if this should be under a new thread for the Iconbit Callisto 100. I wanted to reply to the OP, but I will understand if this is moved.

Here's Iconbit's comparison chart of the Callisto 100 compared to its rivals: http://www.iconbit.com/catalog/smartphones/iconbit_callisto_100_nt_1501c/

@htcfan85

Callisto 100 512/4 = TrueSmart 512/4 , only real difference is the case. In fact you can flash Callisto firmware on the TrueSmart and TrueSmart firmware on the Callisto.
Really? I was looking forward to the Omate, but then I should be pretty happy with the Callisto, huh? I'm guessing you've already tried the Callisto?

Don't have one but seeing it comes from the same manufacturer as the AW-414, xTouch Wave and TS it is one of the devices I support.
Sweet~

So I can keep up to the date with the latest firmware no matter whoever puts it out first. I just hope the battery life is longer than 2 days with some usage. I think this will be better than the Gear if it worked as smoothly as it does in the videos. If the battery life is about 3 days, which is close to what the SW2 gets, do you think I would end up returning the SW2?

Although I like it, there are times when this occasionally doesn't work. Like I'll try to open an app and I see that bar that indicates loading and then it stops without it opening. Sometimes I have to shut it on and off or just turn the screen on and off. I like the idea of being able to send a text from my smartwatch, even if the keyboard is small (I would likely use Swype since I'm really used to it). That will probably be one of the first things I try on the watch when I get it.

I will not even try to use this as a phone, only as an extension of my smartphone. I hope there's a way to respond to messages from other apps, like Line or KakaoTalk, from the Callisto rather than having to take out my phone... but that may be hoping for too much.

Never a good idea. In the case of the x201, the latest firmware breaks sensors on the 512/4.
It actually may not matter... I was planning on using this as a companion device, not as a standalone. As a standalone, the battery drains too fast to last a day, probably. I just got it about an hour ago and I can tell that it wouldn't last a day of usage. Also, I'm noticing that I can pair my HTC One XL and this Callisto 100, but there's no indication of them being connected.
My Sony Smartwatch 2 would be better than this, no matter how nice it is to have apps on my wrist. I would love to be able to send texts back or do some other things, but how can I if I can't tether it by bluetooth instead of constantly having to use my hotspot from my phone?

Have these issues been noticed with the Omate?

As it stands, I may use this for a couple days.. but it's highly likely that if there's no way to use this as a companion device, that I will end up returning it. Also, the battery drains much faster than I believed it was going to since I thought it was supposed to last close to 3 days.

Battery life depends on usage. Connected to HSPA+ and doing absolutely nothing, I get six days or more. Have gmail, hangouts, G+, calendar, drive and a couple more apps constantly syncing, day or two.

You have to remember that battery life as reported by the cell makers is connected to network with perfect signal doing absolutely nothing. My with has a Photon Q which is reported to get almost ten days of battery life. Install Skype and login and nothing else, she doesn't even make it 24hrs.

BT tether doesn't work on any of them.
