Dont have a computer on me to try adb. was hoping there was a button way to shut it off without having to remove the battery since i do not have my tiny screw driver with me :(

edit: let watch fully die, charged it a little more powered right back on.
I'm just glad it turned back on! It's worrying to hear about those kinds of problems with the same product that I have.. I've actually been considering whether I want to buy a replacement battery to carry around, but it's not like it's the easiest thing to get this cover off. Then again, my battery lasts really long now, probably with the combination of the new firmware and the battery settling in. 15 hours 24 minutes and 10 seconds since I took it off the charger, used the recording function for about maybe 15-20 minutes, and it's only at about 90%. This is all while having the Wi-Fi on. Maybe I'll see how long it lasts through the night and tomorrow, while keeping track of what I use it for.

Wish my battery was that good. im at 92 percent only an hour and 45 mins off charger and havent used it at all. i have a att sim card in for cell only no data. flashed the 0312 firmware i think it went through successfully was my first flashing ever on this device. but not sure how to confirm which firmware is on it. oh well.

thanks for your input.

Doesn't sound right... I use an ATT/ST Sim as well. A few nights ago, I wanted to see if a full charge could last a full 24 hrs under normal usage. I charged the watch and removed at bedtime....in the morning (8-9hrs later), I noted 92% remaining. This was with WiFi on, BT off, 3G on, GPS off, sync on and silent...US 1900 1/8, 0312/0120.

Take a look at any other third party apps that you've DLd. Even the ones without constant sync, some can be battery killers.

Also, are you toggling between 2G and 3G? I know this can save some batt life... but thus far, for my usage, I haven't seen this to be necessary.

I would recommend that you DL ”Easy Battery Saver” or alike utility... a decent battery app can give a little more useful info and breakdown of sw/hw power usage.

You are a couple releases behind. Current version is 20140318 v2.

Signal level will also significantly affect battery life and if you only used EnSec, your RAM usage much higher as well.

thanks loki ill try to install the update hopefully nothing goes wrong when i try it since not sure if im even on the right firmware or how to choose ensec or operative since its just one file last time it just installed and that was it. assuming it was ensec though since no additional launchers or programs were installed and only su was added. but during the install didnt see an option to choose one or the other. ill do more research when i get home, through this thread.

thanks mghtymse ill try out that app and see whats up.

Right above the "Do it" button in the installer is a drop down list that has all four versions.

Do you have the link to the firmware? the only one i can find is 15.01.2014 v1
There is a difference between firmware (what comes on the watch) and the security patch (something you install yourself).

The latest firmware is TEST_RELEASE_Omate_2100_TrueSmart_20140314. It is unsecured and I do not support it. I support the 20140120 firmware only which can be found following the very first link in my signature.

The most recent security patch is 20140318 which can also be found following the very first link in my signature.

So my battery lasted 3 days 1 hour and 40 minutes @ 6%. I didn't do that much with it, turned on occasionally and had it connected to Tablet Talk through my hotspot. Played Flappy Bird a few times, downloaded an app or two, and checked email and used my Chrome browser several times.

Sweet, yeah noticed yesterday my battery was much better and didnt use it any differently was at 45% after 18 hours so was a big improvement even though i didn't do anything differently guess it was still "learning" my usage. going to install the newer firmware later today to see if it makes any other differences. backed up all my apps with titanium hopefully it can replace them like it does on my phone after i run the install.

Sweet~

So I can keep up to the date with the latest firmware no matter whoever puts it out first. I just hope the battery life is longer than 2 days with some usage. I think this will be better than the Gear if it worked as smoothly as it does in the videos. If the battery life is about 3 days, which is close to what the SW2 gets, do you think I would end up returning the SW2?

Although I like it, there are times when this occasionally doesn't work. Like I'll try to open an app and I see that bar that indicates loading and then it stops without it opening. Sometimes I have to shut it on and off or just turn the screen on and off. I like the idea of being able to send a text from my smartwatch, even if the keyboard is small (I would likely use Swype since I'm really used to it). That will probably be one of the first things I try on the watch when I get it.

I will not even try to use this as a phone, only as an extension of my smartphone. I hope there's a way to respond to messages from other apps, like Line or KakaoTalk, from the Callisto rather than having to take out my phone... but that may be hoping for too much.
i had one and sold it. you cannot use it only as an extension of your smartphone. it is a standalone phone. i went to ATT store and even called ATT and they both told me you have to have a sim card for it to work and pay for a plan and it had to have a seperate Phone #.

I can't get Tablet Talk to work on my Callisto 100. I think it's because the Callisto and my phone are both considered phones, as opposed to the watch being considered a tablet. Therefore they can't find each other... My Nexus 7 connects with my phone both through WiFi and through bluetooth.
i couldnt get tablet talk to work either on my callisto. so i sold it. i want a watch that can be a standalone as well as companion.

Ive just received my iconbit callisto 100 and im pretty blown away with how smooth and responsive it is, its an amazing bit of tech. Im a gadget lover and havent bought it for any specific purpose just as a toy to enjoy and experiment with. I did previously own a sony smartwatch but i wasnt that impressed with it... but this thing wow! It is a fullblown smartphone on your wrist all the things that amazed us all a few years back about our smartphones is now possible on a watch! Live tv, youtube, google earth, sat nav, google streets, stream movies etc from the watch to other devices like tvs or game consoles, upto 32gb sd storage on your wrist, use the watch as a wifi hotspot for your tablet, get all your emails whatsapp text or other messages straight to your wrist, voice search is good, as typing is a little fiddly. Ive just whacked a pay as you go sim in mine and its great. It charges in under an hour and lasts upto 3days light usage.

Only problem i found is the watch mic gets some interference during a call, but with a bluetooth headset its crystal clear. Also its not unusable without the headset, just sounds like a bit of a bad line, fine for "ill be back in 20mins" or "can you grab some milk while your there"... although for long or important conversations i recommend a bluetooth headset.

Ive thrown lots of different apps at this watch in the short time ive had it and it handles most very well. I think the screen size and shape is the only reason some apps arent available but most are.

This watch benchmarks about the same as a samsung galaxy s2. Not bad for a watch!

Does anyone have the stock launcher apk for the iconbit callisto 100? i installed the operative file and wasnt a fan of the launchers would like to get the original launcher back tried to install ensec build but that didnt have the stock one either.

also curious if anyones gotten tasker autovoice always listening to work on the device for voice activation of things without needing to press anything else first. I got it to work when you first enable the listener in autovoice but than anything after the first command doesnt work right and i have to turn it off and back on again.

Thanks,

The stock launcher is in the removed folder on internal storage. All it is really, is the vanilla aosp launcher with the dock hidden.
