Does anyone of a network browser app for the Vox which I can use to browse network shares on my smartphone through wifi?

no it don't work on smartphone version , only work on pda phone (touch screen) ...

as far as know it is not posable in wm6 blame ms for this muck up i miss it alot

you can get freeware ftp servers for your pc, that might get you transfering files, but as the others are saying, not sure its possible.

Yes, so it's not possible to transfers files other wifi without use of TFTP.
