After I got my LG G4 (rooted) repaired from the CPU problem, I moved over to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. But still have my purple color on the LG screen after a while powered on...

A required of mine was to have 5,5 Inch again. The edge's border is smaller than G4. Even with Ccse it is slim enough for me for a very good one hand handling. At this border size, it would also be possible to use 5,7 Inch one handed (I think). I'm happy now. Very fluent. Continue now without root.

My wife's G5 is WAY more responsive than my G4. I believe it's the fast storage implemented in the G5 compared to the sluggish performance in the G4 storage. Anyway, I'm definitely going to buy another LG. Waiting for the G6 to be released.

They are way cheaper where I live from the Samsung, and arguably better.

Camera is top notch (at the time the G4 was realeased), and the G5 got the same exact camera + extra wide angle camera. The camera is still far better than other crappy cheap phones in low light. Based on LG's previous releases, the G6 should get a big update in the camera department. This usually happens every other update. So the next big update after the G6 will be with the G8.

From anandtech -> http://www.anandtech.com/show/10217/the-lg-g5-review/5
LG has settled into a tick-tock cadence for camera upgrades. The G2 and G4 are both tocks: new sensors, new optics, new features. The G3 and G5 are both ticks: same sensors, same optics, new features. Where the G3 added laser autofocus and 3-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), the G5 adds a second, wide-angle camera on the back.

Ok, i can't really comment on this because I got the best LG G4 possible ( EU, Single sim, Poland ( Which is the best) , Serial 607 ( so no problems with the bootloop thing really) and I believe the battery is slightly better on phones shipped with serial 607 and 608 ( Although 608 is so rare that almost nobody has it)

Thing is, you have to understand that, LG sells this phone on the asian market for a considerably lower price, so the bad batches etc they all push to those countries. You can get a brand new one there for 200 euro. Now come on, for 200 euro there aren't many options that are better tbh.

Now the ****ty part is that some resellers buy those and sell those for the RRP of the H815, wake up people! LG doesn't differentiate for no reason, this is a common practice with all korean manufacturers, from cars to TV's. Now Am I saying it's bad, No, asian markets have considerably less buying force so for them to actually deliver top-end specs, al be it with some issues at that price is still amazing!

Well well, let's take your word for granted. Can I finally be happy about getting a motherboard replacement after ILAPO?
Warranty and all, from Germany to Poland and back. It's working perfectly so far (as it did when I bought it. For ~12 months . . . )
Can you tell me more about "EBR81224301"?

Allegro is ****, you can get G4 for nothing there. It's much cheaper than SGS6 but still more expensive than HTC M9(which is cheaper than M8 in my country) but when you buy G4 from allegro then no warranty, no bootloader unlock, most of the time no LTE etc. I went to store and bought one. Difference in price is like 40 EUR

The G4's sold on the Allegro website are indeed from SEA, not originally intended for the Polish/European Market. There is so much fragmentation with LG it's unreal tbh. That's what Apple is really good at, standardization, everybody gets the same product. (except for the 5c fiasco but that's a whole other story lol)

Actually, I think I'll buy myself 5S as I need to be back in iOS as many things has changed and I'm out from the game(3G is a little outdated :p) and yeah it's a lottery to buy phone from allegro these days... I'm still really surprised that my phone is from UK but it works great so I can't complain at all right now. I really like this phone as it's great, fast, good looking with great camera etc. If not the bootloop it would be best phone of its time

I wouldn't know, I have never been in Poland lol :p , My supplier always gets me the best products ( I live in the Netherlands lol)

Anyway, I have a feeling the iPhone will be so good this year we as phoneheads just can't resist. One thing is for certain, If Apple decides to pull an Apple and do the usual spec bump and that's it they wil take a biggggg hit.

And yes, if this Phone had USB-C it would be one of the best phones, if not the best still today. The main reason for me is the Leather back, you just can not beat that! ( I know moto and all but that phone sucks lol)

Actually I hate moves like removing audio jack as its very important for me and I guess to 1/3 peoole too. Other **** they've done and I can't forgive them is that they added second speaker on the bottom which is empty inside and it has no real use..Honestly, I'm happy I bought this phone as it seems great so right now I have nothing to worry, but what to buy next? I have S7 or HTC 10 on mind. Maybe the Pixel... S8 will suck, G6 will be awful again, 11 won't have jack, Pixel 2017 will... Let's hope it will be perfect

I just have a feeling that Apple has a special card that they are holding. Something so revolutionary I just gotta have it (or at least I hope so lol). If not the S8 will be the best phone lol.

About the 3.5mm jack, All manufacturers have already signed all kinds of deals so yes, capitalism will once again win :( , I highly doubt we will see any of next years flagships with a 3.5mm jack, Maybe LG and Huawei will still include it but HTC, Samsung (maybe) , Apple, Mi, Meizu etc will all abandon it.

Oh yea and FYI, I have a very strong feeling Sony and LG may go out of the smartphone market really soon, especially Sony, I just can't see them survive this year. 2017 will be a crucial year for Mobile tech IMO, especially for smartphones.

If and Only Pixel got expendable storage and not overpriced as f**k, it will be a go.. But i know it just a dream, Google never decided to give SD Card support and loves to recommend us to buy more storage for online drives..

I think, i might stay with G4 and hoping that LG realized scraping the idea of removable battery is a bad move since there is not much phone that can be removed their battery.. Idc about battery life tho because i have 3 LG G4 battery pack and it's really useful for me. Since i played game so hard like Mobile Legend on my LG G4, everytime my battery is left at 15% or less, i will turn off my phone and swap the battery with my another fully charged battery. So i can resume my game very quick and let the almost die battery to charged again via LG Battery Case without having me to stay near the charger or charge the phone while it is fiery hot.
Believe it or not, my actions for swapping the batteries has made my friend who was a die-hard iPhone fan switched from her iPhone 6 Plus to LG G4 because of how handy it is to have removable battery and cancelled her planning to buy iPhone 7. Now she was a happy LG G4 user and probably will get V20 for her next phone and i was happy too to help her to save some money and stop wasting on overpriced gadget.

of course you realise that this applies to only you and those that you like going on a trip and keep playing games while traveling........
so every 3 hours of hard gaming you switch batteries ? what can i say..... indeed it's a nice idea, but i still wish people would quit facebook and gaming for hours and live a little more.
for me one battery is enough to get through 2 or 3 days -_-

For me G4 stands for about 2 days. It happens that I have to charge it every day but it's not normal and it's much better than my Galaxy S3 which I was charging 2-5 times a day, thats why I was super excited about G4 battery life then I was told that I was better on lollipop and I couldn't believe it XD

I still don't have root or even unlocked bootloader so I didn't give it a try ;). I'm thinking of getting back to business. I would make some ROM for this phone as almost noone is interested in doing so. My brother has G3 and I feel a little jealous. He has G5 rom installed on it and even if I unlock mine I can only flash G5 themed ROM with some G5 apps... That's hilarious. I never had to play with porting one phone software to other but maybe it's time to start doing so.
